Great Book. I Highly Recommend It.
This book is definitely going to have a big impact on your life. Especially if you're someone who's ever been interested in starting a new project, or business, or making a big life change... but instead you chickened out, made excuses, and never to the leap.It helps you reframe how you view failure and rejection. Most importantly though, it shows ways to push past that initial fear you feel when starting something new, making changes in life, or making any big decisions. All things considered, it has all the information you need to become a bold, fearless, action-taker.Now you just need to put it into action.Sidenote: I love the new yellow book cover.Edit: August 2, 2024This book has a special place in my heart. It opened my eyes to what I lacked in my life. Faith, self-belief, self-confidence. Lacking those things is what causes inaction, doubt and fear.Since then I've made it a daily practice to work on increasing these things in my life.I highly recommend reading this book and one of Claude M. Bristol's books(The Magic of Believing, or TNT It Rocks The Earth).

Pleasantly surprised
I especially liked the techniques for stress relief. It explains to me why cooking calms me down, I would never have imagined it is as a mindful task. The book as nuggets of wisdom on every page and it reminds you of what is most important in life and about living. I have a few strategies I intend to implement that I learned from the book. The fact that failure is not even the only theme in the book despite the title pleasantly surprised me. The author mentions mindset, discipline and other adjacent virtues and it not only makes sense but makes for a beautiful read.I recommend the book as a guide to finding courage.

Informative
This book couldn't have come at a better time. It felt that that it was written just for me. I started a new job that didn't work out. I knew I had to change jobs but fear held me back. After reading the book I did indeed find one! I highlighted so much of the book and stuck little post-notes (and there were a lot!) to the pages I thought were importance and relevant to me. It's definitely a must read again book. Thank you Wilda Hale (and Amazon for the suggestion!) for writing the book.

Could have been a much shorter article
While a lot of the information was really helpful it felt like there was a lot of repetition for the sake of reaching a word count. Would have loved it to be more concise.

Great read
I read this book because of my perfection paralysis which i have allowed to lead me into a life of procrastination. Wilda really put together some fantastic strategies with words of advice and coaching. This is one I will keep and read over and over again.

Excellent material, needs editing
Wilda Hale has written a book that deftly combines personal experience with solid self-help wisdom. I benefitted from the section on "Dopamine Detox," which gave me some concrete ways to improve my experience of day-to-day life. My only encouragement for the author is to have someone with strong editing skills review the book for grammatical errors before publishing. Doing so will take the author's work to "the next level."
