Q: Will it stay on all night if left plugged in or timer every time?

It’s on a timer so it doesn’t stay on all night and drain the battery. We charge ours every other week I would say

Q: Any way to get it to stay on more than 15 minutes?

The previous unicorn light is with 15 mins timer and this timer function can not be cancelled. For our updated new model, it is with 60 mins timer and this timer function can be cancelled by pressing the bottom switch 3 seconds with the red light blinking twice.

Q: If I am holding it to read a book, I want to make sure it doesnt change colors and only if I tap the top?

Yes. If you tap the unicorn to the color you want and fix it, it will not change colors and only if you tap the top.

Q: Is the bright white setting strong enough for kids to read a book in the dark at bedtime?
