Just Dance 2017 - Wii

What I love about Just Dance 2017 is the wonderful collection of International dance songs. I love discovering these upbeat songs, dancing to them and you-tubing to learn about the artists. I also love the energetic but simpler dance steps (compared to Just Dance 2016). It is so enjoyable to dance to Portugese, Japanese, Indian, French, Korean and even English songs from all the world over. My suggestion for future improvements are to include Chinese songs (check out Jolin Tsai) & leverage characters from other Ubisoft games. I would love to see the beautiful characters from the Assassin's Creed dancing here.

My sister is obsessed with Just Dance so when she put this on her Christmas list I checked amazon right away for a better deal. Sure enough it was cheaper around black Friday so I knew I had to purchase. If you are in the mood for tons of fun and entertainment this is it. You will work up a sweat dancing yourself and then laugh till you cry watching others dance. Playing it while living in apartments is a little complex though. My sister's downstairs neighbor wasn't too happy with how loud my dance moves were.

My daughters love this game which is why I gave it 4 starts. The songs are still current and fun, but the moves are a little sketchy for kids. I would expect some of these moves that are part of the game in high schoolers, not for kids that are aged 6-12. I was definitely surprised by some of the moves.

So glad I went out on a limb and purchased this game. The music is super catchy and it's easy for beginners (like me) to follow along with the dance moves that scroll across the bottom of the screen. My only beef is not enough Jpop--DDR built the dancing game industry and it would be great to see more of this. Including PSY and calling it Kpop is a stretch, but I guess every bit counts. Looking forward to purchasing JD 2018.

Kids love all the just dance games. Wish they still made them for Wii U

I love these Just Dance games! My 9 year old son will play these for hours on end. He has no idea that he's actually exercising - to him its just dancing fun. He loves all of the songs and the different modes to play the game in. These are a great way to get the whole family up and moving and having a great time together - and the price is fantastic.

Nostalgia plays a big part in getting a new iteration of Just Dance. For its price getting the next year's version is a viable option, but I say with a twinge of sadness as the songs become less familiar as the newest edition rolls out. Obviously grabbing the latest and greatest songs is what keeps the dancing game genre relevant, so I can appreciate that a lot of my family can get down to boogie. Then you get some meme-tastic songs (I'm looking at you Dragostea! (rocked it)). As with any Just Dance, you'll get a fair share of current, classic, and international songs, and moves sure to keep you active and make for good family video years from now.
