ColemanMach 48204-6665 Roughneck Series MACH 15 Medium-Profile Air Conditioner - 15,000 BTU, Textured White

We bought this for our older RV, because the one that we had just didn't cool us. We put it in and Wow it does a great job!

It does work good but I bought it because the advertisement said it was built so much better than the regular unit. When I installed it. I didn't see anything that looked $500 better. Having said that, the air is cold and airflow is great.

I have an 18 wheeler. When I bought the rig new, it had a Coleman Mach (?) installed on the roof. It was not a roughneck, and the compressor went out within a year. We bought this roughneck thru Amazon and this great RV store in South Carolina. I called them directly, got advice, they shipped it to the house, and we installed it ourselves. Removed the old, put this on, four bolts. I used the existing thermostat on my wall, and it worked out great. Please do contact the RV place though, to see what else you may need. It blows out so nice and cold. I'm in Florida right now, its 80 degrees, humidity is almost 100% and the unit is set on 75 degrees auto. It's a beautiful thing! We hit alot of bad roads, but the unit is working great.
