Great book
I'm a big 86 fan. Read all the novels very fast. I was excited to read this new volume. I was happy to read a little more insight on "side characters" for once (Kurena and Rikka mainly). Don't get me wrong, I loved all the development that Shin and Lena got the past books, but it was very nice to read a little more about the rest of the characters. Made me love them even more. I specially loved Kurena this book, she finally got a major development that I felt she needed for a while (I was always thinking this girl got so much potential!). Asato Asato is a good writer in my opinion and this book is definetly at the same quality as the rest.

Great Plot
I didn't expect much from 86. Seemed like your usual mecha story. But volume 9 changed my views.

The novel is GREAT but..
Please consider to start wrapping the manga/novel in tight plastic! A product in great condition should be a priority, seriously.

A disappointing plot.
This volume marks a strange turn in this serie. It doesn't feel as the writing from the previous volumes. In this one, the author finally touch religion in his world, but differently from previous works it feels poorly developed, rush and with a plot that doesn't make any sense, even childlike for such a serious subject. Hilnå's motivation doesn't make any sense, putting small children and repeating over and over the inner conflicts of the characters became boring. But worst is the writing in this volume, jumping from points of view continously making it really hard to follow and understand. Looking at the next volume is clear there are no more fresh ideas for this series, so hopefully, after a while the author will come back with a good conclusion.
