The ceramic knife performs very well for cutting fruits and vegetables. However there are some very serious issues about the product which is not as per what was promised in the product description1. The size of the cutting blade is exactly 3 inches as compared to the declared 5 inches2. Did not come with a protective sheath which is so surprising considering the extremely sharp and brittle edge3. As seen in the picture there was a pre-existing broken bit at the bottom handle end of the knife
