Great tool overall
I am a bit over a week into this purchase. The tool overall I thoroughly enjoy. I am a bit dissatisfied with the triangular sanding head attachment. Part of it has begun to ware off - and the attachment is not rigid enough to fully get into the corners. I would still recommend this tool, but advise looking for a different triangular sanding head than the one it comes with. Not sure how good alternatives are.

A great multitool!
This Rockwell Sonicrafter is a beast! It's powerful enough to cut through just about anything, yet still surprisingly easy to control. The variety of accessories is incredible – I've used it for everything from sanding down furniture to carving intricate details. The carry bag is a nice touch too, making it easy to transport and keep everything organized. If you're looking for a versatile and powerful oscillating tool, this is the one.

Works as intended
Took a bit to learn how to detach the tool. Works great. Powerful, seems sturdy. Used on medium power setting without too much noise. Great for plunge cutting or trim work to cut out specific sections. Bought for one project but I'm sure I'll use it for more. Good value. I would purchase again. UPDATE 11/13/2024: I have used this for several projects with success. Such a great all-around tool. It is holding up very well. A new favorite tool. I would definitely recommend this as a purchase for all sorts of tasks.

Great gift for a handiman
I've used my Rockwell for several years. No problems. I am a woodworker and you think , "Naw, I'll never need one." But it's surprising how many times this tool has made a job easier. Example: A flooring contractor was trying to cut the bottom of a doors millwork with a handsaw. The flooring being installed was 3/4" thick. I found a 3/4" block, placed on the bare floor and against the door trim. Rested the blade of the Rockwell tool on top of the block and in 30 seconds cut a perfectly square cut that allowed the flooring to slide underneath. I let him do the rest of the doors. Since, I've cut other wood types, plastics, and metal.

Most useful tool you’ve never heard of!
I didn’t know this tool existed until I saw it on YouTube. It was described as the most useful tool around you’ve never heard of. I am a novice woodworker. I cannot tell you how often I use this tool to fix my mistakes. You can buy extra blades that cut through light metal, plastic, etc. I usually use the one rated for both wood and metal. It allows me to cut protruding brad nails and screws, and chop wood segments that I can then chisel out. For example, today I messed up by prematurely gluing, nailing, and screwing in a cleat before I realized I had messed up. I was able to fix my mistake by trimming away the ends of the cleat to allow other boards to fit and align. It is sort of like a rotary tool on steroids, although it oscillates in a narrow range, which is good because it allows one to precisely focus it. This model allows you to operate the tool with the blade facing to the sides or straight ahead. It uses standard blades and it is easy to switch out blades. Highly recommend it. It is one of those things that will make you wonder how you ever did without it.
