When I saw these I didn't see them in my size for someone with a 43-in waist. So I ordered the largest 3XL and hoped that it would fit. After receiving them today and trying them on they fit perfectly. If you look at the photo I can put two fingers between my waist and the pants so they could probably fit someone even with a 44-in waist. I have to use a belt so they don't ride to low.I love the two front big zippered pockets. They're really roomy and can put a lot of stuff in them.The smaller Velcro pockets next to the zippered pockets in the front our roomy enough to fit my Pixel 6 pro in a case, but the flap will not close and secure. As you can see in the pictures it's a snug fit. If I try to pull the flap over it will only go far enough to touch the fabric and not all the way to velcro part.

By far my favorite pair of shorts. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because on all my ten pair of these shorts, i've had the same two problems. The zipper gets stuck on all ten pairs, and the phone pocket in the front rips. The stiching is super weak. But i deal with it, cause i love them!! I bought a Large in black and it fits me perfect. I bought a Large in other colors and they are as big as XL. So for some reason they come in different sizes when you buy different colors. Lastly, I have a calloused spot behind the button on my stomach, from the back of the button. It digs into your stomach and is pretty painful. Maybe because I have a bit of a gut, I dunno. Doesn't matter to me though, cause the fit and the look is like no other. I wear them everyday. I like all the pockets, and my phone and wallet are in the front pockets like I like it. Lots of pockets and waterproof. I love the fit at the knees. There's a slit on the sides where the front of the shorts are longer than the back. Dunno if this was on purpose but it's perfect for the way i like the fit. Covers my knees but doesn't grab on to the back of my knees, because of the slit. The belt loops are big and wide.. super cool product. I bought all the colors and keep buying them because i can't figure out the sizes based on the colors lol. I don't care, i like them that much. it's worth it and an incentive to lose weight.

When I bought them they were a little small so I didn't get a chance to wear them so I finally wore them today and two of the zippers are broke and one of the pockets were not stitched correctly

I have two pairs for a year - they are was excellent. Now i got additional two pairs - disaster!!! Poor quality. They are not the some! Don't but. Zippers broke, pockets broke, all joints falling a part.

TL:DR: Weak thigh pocket/zipper stitches, snug, difficult high hip pockets.I held my cb-radio in the pocket with the flap securing it, and used the zipper pocket for a notepad. I was wearing rubberized reflective gloves while accessing the pockets. I wore the shorts for 7 miles of walking, jumping, climbing, jogging, bending, squatting. It was a dry and cold day (38-42f). I also drove about 60 miles in them.The right thigh pocket / zipper stitches tore out and allowed the zipper to fall apart while closed about 4 hours into my day.Additionally, the hip pockets are high and at a difficult angle for access when sitting. My smallish smartphone and second larger smartphone fit well in the left hip pocket, at a weird angle as well.They fit snug but comfortable. It was a colder day, but not cold enough for pants. They felt a bit drafty compared to my oversized, not-waterproof, heavier, much-better pockets, bigbrand cargo shorts.I did not test their waterproofness.3/5* ; I may not have used them as intended, but they are not tough. I'll sew them up and give them another try this summer, maybe they will win me over and then I will remove/edit this review.So annoyed. ffs.

I was looking for shorts with no cotton or thickness due to sweating at work. These shorts are great. They are thin so you stay cool. They don't stretch, they don't claim they do. Point being, they hold up all of the time when I bend over. They may have seemed pricey at first, however, they past all tests and worth the price. This pair has lasted the entire summer and I have a physical job.

I normally do not leave reviews because most things I buy are as advertised. I generally do not buy anything rated below 70% and this product is a perfect reason I should continue that trend. Currently, this product is at 47%. While they fit me perfectly and they are comfortable enough, the build quality is subpar. The first day I wore them both hip pockets tore. While the right pocket tore because my keychain was caught in the stitching (this has never happened to me before), I'm not sure what happened to the left pocket. I only carry my phone in my left pocket. I now have two unusable pockets due to the thinnest of Nylon (?) that was used. Furthermore, upon placing my phone into the left thigh zipper pocket, the zipper dislodged... a third damaged pocket... DAY 1!!! I can't tell you how many times I've dropped my phone so far trying to place it in the hip pocket. Today marks the 4th time I've worn it.As someone mentioned in another review, the hip pockets are at a slightly odd angle, or rather not angled at all. The pockets are sewn straight down. Nothing you can't get used to I suppose and maybe it's to prevent items from falling out of your pocket. Lastly, the back pockets are particularly low. I constantly feel like I'm missing my wallet because they are not where I expect them. Again, maybe it's to prevent items from falling out of your pocket and nothing I can't get used to.At this point, I'm expecting the stitching to fail at any moment.
