Didn't use adhesive, drilled hole where screw was in console got little bit bigger screw and screwed them on.

The product description does not say anything about sticking the down with the supplied adhesive. Unfortunately the design is such. that it would cover screws on the sides of the center console that you would need access to if repairs were need to the shift levers or neutral safety switch. While Jeep might have designed this better the reality is that once you've adhered them the screws would be covered. You would have to pry them off, loosing the adhesive to access the screw. I returned the and they refunded me. No hassles and I thank them for that. Sorry.

Seems to work well for early JK but having whole backside with 3M won’t work as you will lose access to the two bolts that hold center gear console on. So I used Velcro tape to fasten right side and tried command stripes on driver side. Command stripes didn’t work on right side even using hairdryer to help the bond. I will probably replace driver side with Velcro if. I’m and stripes doesn’t hold otherwise the storage compartments do well adding extra places for small items

Great for some much needed extra storage when the doors are off. The passenger side interferes with the passenger seat sliding forward however. Other than that, can’t beat for the price! I just put the passenger side on with some Velcro adhesive so I can take off and put back on as needed.

I enjoy these storage bins. I always lose little things when I try to toss the In between the seat and console and the jk does not have a lot of console space where you can toss little items. I like to keep headphones/blue tooth headset and such there.
