Accurate remote weather gauge.
Very accurate gauge. Temperature is right on but one must keep it out of direct sunlight or the sun will heat the housing. The rain gauge is very accurate.

I’m just saying that it needs some work
I like it so far. The directions are not the greatest and the type is so small that even with my new glasses I needed a magnifying lens to read some of it. Would like to know what the lowest voltage is needed to make this function

Easy setup.
So far this rain gauge is working great. The test will be when the leaves are falling and blowing.

Didn't last long
Does not last long. My first one lasted about four months, then the outside unit died. Thought it was the batteries, but no, it was dead. Ordered another to give it another shot because I liked it while it lasted.Second one lasted about six months, then the outside unit stopped measuring rainfall. Will no buy again, and lowering to one star.Recommend you stay away, unless you just need a temporary solution, because that's what this is.

This piece has a lot of nice features
I really like this unit a lot. I especially like the method they used to allow an easy way to replace the batteries in the outside unit. It was very easy to set up and the display is easy to see and read. Unless you place the outside unit in a shady location that is still open to the sky, the outside temperature will not read accurately. They rain gauge also has the temperature and humidity sensors inside its housing and if it is placed where the sun beats down on it, it gets extra hot. This results in a higher temperature reading then is actually present. All in all, I really like this system and will recommend it.

Be prepared to change batteries every 6 months!
After about two years of use, I must say that the unit is not that bad, however who knows if the rainfall record is correct, but anyway it helps. My first review was critic about the place where it had to be installed, but after the seller explained that it had to be away from direct sunlight in order to give a more accurate temp reading, I found a place where rain will go in without any interference and that he sun hits it only for a couple hours a day. However, what is very annoying, is that in the display unit the batteries last only 7-8 months, maximum, and I know for sure because I have the habit of dating the batteries of everything that uses them, and recording also the last time they were replaced. It's not only aggravating that they don't last, but that every change requires that the control unit is programmed again. They last a bit more, about a year in the rain gauge itself.BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL REPORTI haven't installed it yet, but the first thing I saw is that is says not to place it under direct sunlight, which is ridiculous because it has to be out where it will catch full rain, so How can you prevent it from not catching direct sun rays? Also, I see that the material is very flimsy, and as I live in Ecuador, where we have 12 hours of sunlight, I'm sure that the case of the gauge will deform in no time.To return it from here will cost more than the price I paid, so I'm stuck with it.

Update- Only lasted 11 months. Temperature reading failed to function. Off by 30 degrees F
UPDATE: Failed after only 11 months. temperature read out failed. Off by 30 Degrees F. New batteries installed. Very difficult to set up. I do not like this product. Ordering a different brand. Going back to Pacific Scientific brand. Had them before. Lasted many years.Older comments below:The Daily screen works fine. NONE of the History screens show any rainfall data, either numerical or bar-graph. Example: The attached photos show rainfall on day -1 on the Daily screen's bar-graph. No rainfall data, is shown when I use the HIS button to view the History screen for a past day i.e. -1 -2 -3 (or on any other screen for which the was rainfall on a particular day). After NUMEROUS emails to and from Geevon support:The first few replies were the basics covered in the instruction sheet. ( I guess they assumed I couldn't read) They finally informed me that the instruction sheet included with my gauge was WRONG.The daily screen shows a bar-graph depicting the rainfall for the past 6 days of rainfall each day.The HIS (history) screens show rainfall for the past 24 hours only, 1 hour at a time. There is no other daily history shown. The up-side is that the support staff kept trying to explain to me the things that I had already read and tried. But, they did not quit trying. Finally I received a reply from a more informed person that my instruction sheet was wrong and explained how it was designed to work.My old Pacific Scientifics gauge did show a week of history, one screen at a time but the Pacific gauge was never very accurate. I expected the same type of historical data from the Geevon gauge and the instructions led me to believe that it would display daily historical values.Another up-side--The Geevon gauge is very accurate and now that I have a full understanding of it, I am more satisfied with it.
