I'm not a gamer, but a believer
This was purchased for my grandson, but myself and his uncle wanted to see how good/bad it is. (the boy got sent another)As it says I'm not a gamer but virtually use tech in it's highest form daily. I know how it works and why it does a couple things so well. However I wondered, how realistic? I'm 63. I worked as a teenager at the Pontiac dealership and got to drive some pretty cool cars. And I remember the handling characteristics. Enough about that.We built a rig with a bucket seat that accommodates the steering unit and floor pedals (a little pricey but almost mandatory...) We started playing with it with VR headset exclusively, but I suggest to learn the game playing while watching TV... headset later. (a bit of a learning curve for me) Right now it's parked in front of an 85" TV, so the experience is pretty good. I picked out a couple of cars that I know how they drive in real life. I have always beaten the daylights whatever I drive. Just to see what you could get out of one vs others.Well, I have to say that it's very true and action identical to how the make and models I chose would act when driven to the limits. The feedback given to you is relative, not the million dollar supercar feel, surprised? Me neither, but it's really outstanding to use your imagination as you feel it . Now the gas and brake pedals are relative, again. Any gas pedal without a cable feels weird to me, so you just learn it, get used to it, get good at it. The brake pedal is something you will learn. Seems less than realistic. Clutch pedal is very light. So, of the variety of cars I could find this wheel and pedals emulated all of them differently and all of them accurately. It took me some time to get used to the driving rig but once I learned how not to crash into things it starts getting fun. ( It can be frustrating in the beginning) Now after that, it's addicting. So my grandson got one and a vevor metal stand. I was sent a picture of the boy playing Gran Turismo and four other boys sitting on the sofa behind him waiting to get a turn. No doubt this will be the popular location for children enjoying time off of school. You can log a couple hundred race miles a day without any trouble. After about 20 minutes I need a break. And then want to get back in the chair and improve my time.Warning: I went from never doing this at any level to looking forward to have some time to get on it and practice. Again 63?Fun guaranteed from dudes who 7 , 39, 63

An incredible addition for your gaming experience. How you set it up is important.
It took me a while to submit this review because I wanted to ensure its durability and all that one would hope for in a set like this. It is durable; the weight helps with realism. It's easy to use and accurate even in the fastest driving games. Its responsiveness is spot on, and its functionality is superior. I liked it so much that I bought another setup for my grandson to play together online! The wheel is fast and accurate in this challenge play, but sadly, I am not! He schools me all the time!

Warning: May Cause Overconfidence and Sound Effects
Hooked this racing wheel and pedal set up to the PS5 and suddenly I’m not just playing racing games, I am the race car driver. The immersion is so real, I started leaning into turns, yelling “Let’s goooo!” and making tire screech noises with my mouth. The force feedback is awesome, the pedals feel legit, and I may or may not have worn driving gloves just for the full effect. 10/10, makes every race game more intense and way more hilarious.

It's a good product, but...
A little over one year ago, I bought this to play GT7 on my PS5 with my kids and I've been happy since then. It's not at the level of Thrustmaster or Fanatec, but you sure will have fun for a lot less money! I installed this on a GT Omega Apex stand and it worked like a charm. The only thing that bugs me, and that's why I gave it 4 stars, is that it's very sensitive to static electricity. During cold or dry days, if someone accidentally touches any part of the metal stand or the wheel itself while I'm playing, the wheel momentarily disconnects from the console and needs to be activated again. This takes a few seconds to do via the PS button on the wheel, but certainly ruins the race. The wheel's power supply comes with a 2 prong plug, so no ground pin, which explains the problem. My solution was to drill a small hole on the stand and attach a ground wire to it using a small screw. I found easier to use one of those Ethernet patch panel ground extension cords that come with a standard 3 prong plug, so I can simply use the grounding of my house, but anything that grounds the stand would do.

Great purchase for race/drift simulation training
100% husband approved for his simulation car drifting game set up. Toddler loves it too- the steering wheel moving on its own is pure magic. Very realistic feedback

Great Wheel
If you are looking for the first racing simulator, this is the one. Offer everything with a reasonable price. The best is this feedback you feel when you are touching the road and the dirt or the piano ( checkers ) in the road.

Used but mint
Ordered it used but was in perfect condition. I always heard people say it's a weak wheel but I'd say it's pretty darn strong. I am very happy with this purchase.
