Unlike a lot of KYB shocks, this model is made in Mexico and not Japan. Still great quality.

Rear shocks did not fit my 96 Nissan pathfinder they were like 3 inches too short
Returned Shocks and ordered the right length shocks.

KYB KG5473 Gas Shock
I installed these KYB KG5473 shocks on the rear of my son's 2001 Nissan Frontier truck. They were very easy to install..took about 10 minutes each. They come compressed and strapped so you don't have to manually compress them to get them in place. My son says they are GREAT and made a tremendous difference in the ride of the truck . Of course the shocks taken off had over 100000 miles on them so ANY new shock would have been a significant improvement. But I would HIGHLY recommend these shocks, and the KYB KG5443 front shocks we also installed (but see my review on these for some installation tips).

A little soft
Installed of a 2000 Frontier, a little to Soft, hoped they would have been Stiffer.

Very easy install both front and rear in around an hour
Bought these and the KG4605A for my 1994 Nissan Hardbody 2wd truck. Very easy install both front and rear in around an hour. The ride on these is very nice. Since all my shocks were blown when I bought the truck I can't give a comparison to those but the ride with these is not harsh at all just a nice smooth damper.
