Not quite what I was expecting. The faces are printed on both sides of pages so if you use colored pencils you would have to do it lightly. I got this for 8yr old who likes to play around with makeup. I will probably get some cheap makeup for her to use to just practice and play around. The paper is also not that heavy. It wasn't that much but I think she will have fun with it and I will go ahead and give it to her for her birthday.

Very annoyed that the book arrived damaged and bent so all the pages are messed up. And I don’t have time to order another book before my class starts.
