Simple but Perfect
Simple perfection. Repurposed into a grow light fixture. I'm a plant enthusiast and rather spend money on plants as opposed to expensive grow light fixtures.I clamped it on my secretary and replaced bulb with a warm grow light bulb.Very sturdy. I've read comments about the light switch being problematic. Simply plug light fixture into a multi plug power strip and turn off / on using the power strip in lieu of the fixture knobs.it will never be a problem and you won't have to reach for the knobs if fixture is mounted high ( you're welcome).I'm very happy with my inexpensive purchase.

Not much height
This lamp did not work for the purpose I bought it for — too short. However, I have placed it in another spot for which it is better suited. Not suitable for a a computer desk, but works well in a spot that does not require it to be very high.

Good lamp for the price, and includes a bulb.
The description was accurate. The lamp seems to be good quality and workmanship. It is very useful, as it can be clamped onto the desk or wherever you need it. 800 lumens is bright enough for any reading or desk work.The clamp is really hard to squeeze to get it open to go onto an edge. However, once we got it clamped on, it certainly will not fall off!

Needs a clamp, not a clip.
Both the light and on/off switch on top works. I did switch out the warm light bulb for a daylight one. The neck moves around nicely and has stayed in whatever position that I put it in. It's short, but it's at a height that works for my needs. My only gripe is the clip. Although it is strong enough to stay on the edge of a desk, if you move the light around, the clip will move with it. I'm constantly moving the light and having to re-adjust the clip to hold it to the desk. This gets old and frustrating real quick. Had my kids not tore up the box, I would have returned this and purchased a light that clamps on to the desk instead.

It is as pictured
This was to replace an old lamp. This one fits in well and I like the ON/OFF switch much better. The shade is more focussed than the old one.
