Q: can you replace the circular top that has broken?

My i gotcha fell out of the cart and the plastic retrieving end broke. I went back to the golf store where I had purchased it and they said I could not purchase a new retrieving end. They wanted me to buy the whole thing again. I went home and phoned i gotcha and they sold me the part I had broke. Good service. Good, easy to use retriever. Easy to extend handle - just pull. Ball is secure enough that you can swish it around in the water to rinse the ball when retrieved.

Q: My ball dipper broke the inner plastic ring and I could not retrieve the half that broke out of the lake what can I do?

I have had my Igotcha for probably 5 years. I have nothing negative to say about this retriever. If you take care of it and don’t beat it on the ground or mistreat in some other way, it will be the best ball retriever you will ever own!!!

Q: Will the spring mechanism last?

Yes the spring mechanism does last. I have a similar one of these (without the lock) and that has also served me well. Once you get to know the retriever it really works great on trapping the ball to retrieve it. It fits nicely in your side pocket and doesn't take up too much room.
