Givi TN3105 Engine Guards for Suzuki DL1000 VStrom 2014

Great bars, easy to install without taking the bike apart, seem smartly designed to maximize protection and minimize extraneous parts. Took about two hours to install with a friend and a two breaker bars - needed some help to break the nut loose on the the main through-bolt, one of us to hold the bolt on one side of the bike and the other to break the nut loose, otherwise could probably have done it solo. The matte black finish is great and seems durable and keeps the bars subtle to not distract from the already great lines of the bike, so it still looks very street bike despite being more capable now offfroad.

Instruction well good thing I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, because all I could do was look at pictures and look at parts to figure it out. Terrible. No detailed step instructions. But once on I think they are strong and will do their job. Botton joining allen screws I switched out for a couple of bolts. There is no room to fit Allen wrench on head with exhaust pipe right there. But a bolt and open end wrench it was just as good and was easier...

Installed easily in under an hour. Doesn't include torque specs in instructions but you can find them on line. They look sharp give the bike a more rugged edge and seem heavy duty enough to do the job. A tip on install you'll want to ride the bike a bit to heat up the engine bolts you need remove, the tread locker that comes on them from the factory is heavy duty. Once I broke the bolts lose I let the engine cool down for 30 minutes before doing the install to avoid burns.

Easy install, nice finish, and look great. Havent crashed yet so cant say much about durability, but they look the same as the ones on my old vstrom and i dropped it multiple times in the dirt and they were fine. Fit nicely with happy trails skid plate

Built solid. Little tough to install solo, nice to have someone to assist but fairly straight forward. Glad they are there and hope to never need them!

Little difficult to put in the long Screw. Other than that pretty good. Fits well the 2014 Srom 1000

No instructions

Took me over an hour to install. Instructions are terrible, just 3 pages of pictures. If you are installing on a 2018-2019 vstrom the top brackets join to the radiator. Also the long bolt require you to hold one side and loosen the other. Looks great, good luck.

Fantastic product. Fits like it's supposed to. Will definitely protect engine parts when the inevitable fall happens. Having an extra set of hands definitely would make the install go easier.

Rien à dire de spécial sur l'article, on ne pourra juger qu'en cas de chute et donc j'espère ne pas avoir à juger.Néanmoins, le carton est arrivé dans un piteux état mais comme à l'intérieur c'était bien emballé, rien a été abîmé.

Not much more to say! Great product and price. If you plan on installing without removing the fairings, the bolts that attached at the top of you rad are a pain to get to. Lots of cursing and banging knuckles to get it to fit. lol
