To address some others comments left here:- My machine is dead silent when it's powered on and not in use (no high pitch noises).- Detailed instructions are included. While you can tell they were not written by a native English speaker, they are very easy to follow and understand. Take your time and read them carefully.- This machine likely works best with tape that's more rigid (like the thickness of masking tape). If you're using flimsy clear packing tape, you might have trouble cutting longer pieces (since the tape will curl up into itself as it exits the machine). Shorter pieces (a couple of inches) should be doable. With thicker brown packing tape, I had no trouble cutting up to 7" pieces (haven't tried longer yet). And if you grab the pieces as they come out of the machine, you could probably cut any type of tape to any length.- There are two sensors on the front of the machine that detect when the tape has been removed when using the automatic mode. Depending on the type of tape you're using, that automatic mode might not work out of the box. If that's the case, follow the instructions near the end of the included manual to remove the cutter in the front of the machine, remove the two screws on the bottom of the machine, slide the top off, and adjust the sensor screw on the right side of the machine. It might take a bit of trial and error to get the right setting. For the next version of this machine, it would be helpful to have a hole cut in the exterior of the machine so that adjustment screw can be accessed without taking the machine apart.- As noted by another reviewer and the included manual, you will need to do some light maintenance on this machine to oil it and clean the blade when it gets sticky. The seller also has replacement blades and other parts available if needed. If you're depending on this machine for your business, it would probably be wise to stock up on some spare parts before you need them.Other noteworthy items:- This product comes with a 1-year warranty and lifetime technical support. The seller made a point to share their contact information and seems to be highly motivated to provide awesome support. And they seem to be doing just that based on comments in other reviews here. While you'll find other tape cutting machines on Amazon that look just like this one (likely manufactured by the same company in China), I'd highly recommend you choose this one since the seller is available and ready to assist if needed.- The footprint of the machine is about 4.25" wide by 8" long. And then about 1/3 of the tape roll hangs off the back of the machine.- The machine is heavy enough to prevent it from sliding around as you pull off the cut pieces of tape.- There are 6 presets to allow different lengths of tape to be saved and cut later. Those measurements appear in mm on the machine's display. You can cycle through them by pressing the "Select" button on the front of the machine. For my needs, I have 3 lengths of tape I need to cut for packing my boxes. So, I set the first 3 presets to those measurements and then the second set of presets to the same measurements. That allows me to cycle through in order without having to go back to the first preset when making the 3rd cut. If you have 4 preset lengths you need (for example), then you'll have to press the "Select" button a few times to get back to the first preset after cutting your 4th saved length.- The seller did a good job of covering all of the common issues in the manual you might encounter when using this machine. Read the manual from the beginning to end before attempting to use the machine.Final word:This will be a great timesaver for anyone who needs to routinely cut tape at very specific lengths. I'd buy this machine again in a heartbeat.

This tape dispenser works great. I bought it after using another company for the same type of dispenser but shipped me a used/broken unit and replaced it with a defective unit again. It was also missing parts and instructions. This company appears to go way beyond. The box was properly packed, easy instructions on care/use/repair. Also full warranty instructions if anything happens. All the extra parts and oil were included. Dispenser works perfect. Some companies care about their products and customers. You can see this one does.Dispenser has a nice weight and does not move around on the table. Appears well built. Noise is low. Makes dispensing tape quickly a breeze. I use it for all kinds of tape from masking tape, heat press sublimation tape, and ribbon.

I bought this product for my small business. It's excellent for what it's for... really speeds up my packing time for orders. At first, I was debating it because of the price but it's saved SO much time not having to peel and cut tape by hand. Can set the size of the tape being cut and assign it to buttons. Brilliant piece of equipment. My only issue is that for some reason the machine has high-pitched noise coming from it when on standby. This is easily dealt with by turning off the machine between use or playing music to drown it out. Anyway, this is an update to my review - the support team reached out and handled it very professionally and helped me come to a solution. I was rather surprised as I never expected a response to an amazon review. Very pleased, whenever I need another or my current one passes its lifetime I will definitely be buying from Frifreego again. Customer service representatives were very responsive and helpful. Great company and product thank you.

I bought this product for a year and used it 3 times, and on the third time it turned off out of nowhere and didn't turn on anymore.

Bough this to help with my own business needs, saves time and works well once I leaned how to use it.The unit feels solid and has a little heft to it. Feels of decent quality. so far works as needed.Time will be the real test.10/16/22still working no issues, use the multiple presets to changes length within seconds.one trick to help load a fresh roll of tape, pull out a few inches long enough to feed the machine.press the sticky side of the tape on some thing like a shirt or dusty floor multiple time, this reduces the stickiness of the tape help feed in the 1st time easier. cut off a few inches as test pieces until you have fresh sticky tape being fed through.

I own a print shop, Its very usefull when packing a lot of orders, put double side tape into POP material, very recommended. actually this is the second one I bought

I originally purchased two of these for my company. We package material that requires it to be wrapped, to secure the wrap we use tape. We had two first aid incidents within six months from using the manual type dispenser and decided to find a safer option. This device runs 24hrs a day, five days a week. Other than an employee braking the button that you press for the "Hold down roller release", we have not had any issues or concerns. This is a hands free device when placed in automatic. It not only eliminates the risk of injury but also makes the department more efficient. You also reduce your material cost because less tape will be used verses using a manual dispenser.

Dispenser continues to get clogged. I purchased a replacement cutting blade. I was going to change out the rotating rollers, however one screw looks like it was previously stripped or somehow damaged. If I can’t get the rollers changed I don’t know if I’ll ever get it to work.
