Good product, but Not neccessary in my application
I purchased this product to compress the rear brake pistons of my vehicle. I was aware that needle nose pliers could do the job, but bought this incase. Weirdly enough I couldn't find my 3/8 inch ratchet at the time, so I just ended up using needle nose pliers instead, which worked great!

Worked great on rear brake caliper piston for 2013 Elantra GLS
I used the face with the 4 small pins in the corners to align with the 4 slots on my caliper piston. You turn the piston Clockwise to screw it in and make clearance for the new thicker brake pads. You have to use quite a lot of force to get the piston to move at first. I attached a tube to the bleeder screw and cracked it open slightly to let the old brake fluid in the caliper reservoir exit easily and be discarded. I didn't want to push the old brake fluid back up the line and possibly overflowing the brake fluid reservoir under the hood. By cracking open the bleeder screw this made turning in the piston much easier.

Does the Trick
Used this to suppress the rear brake piston on my 2020 Chevy Traverse brakes. I would say it is tricky to get the leverage you need and if you will be changing lots of rear brakes I would invest in a more legit tool. I wore down one of the points changing two tires.

Good if it fits
This is a basic tool that work well with an impact driver IF the lugs fit what you own....IF.They did not fit the Ford Fusion I ordered it for. So, while good, and a great value, it is not "Universal".

Ineffective and Flawed
I recently purchased the 3/8" Disc Brake Piston Caliper Wind Back Cube Tool, expecting it to ease my brake servicing tasks. Unfortunately, my experience with this tool has been overwhelmingly negative, prompting me to warn potential buyers.Firstly, the tool's build quality is subpar. Despite being advertised as durable, the metal used is surprisingly flimsy. During my first use, I noticed significant bending, which raises concerns about its longevity and reliability for repeated use. Moreover, the fitment issues are glaring. The tool does not properly align with various caliper pistons, resulting in inefficient and frustrating operation. This lack of universality defeats the purpose of a supposedly versatile brake tool. The cube design, while innovative in theory, actually hinders functionality. Its awkward shape makes it difficult to apply even pressure.

only this tool will work for rear Honda caliper piston
unlike the rest of automotive world, HONDA has this unique hydralic pistion which slowly extends as your brake pads wear down. Usually a c-clamp is used to press this cylinder back down into caliper for new space needed for new pads. With HONDA you have to buy this tool that looks like metal rubics cube. with a 3/8 drive socket and extention the 4 pointed side lays into the large x-slots seen in photo... Then crank to your RIGHT to compress piston back down. It will greatly resist at first…Keep going till cylindar is flush with caliper housing...this is going be very tight when slipping installed pads back onto rotor (drink a beer or else take a deep breath). IMPORTANT to check "X" position of cylander before cranking back down. You will want final crank position to exactly match how it was when you started. There is a little "NUB" on back of inner pad that MUST slip into groove just as it was when removed. That 1/8" make a huge difference…you can do this

Funcional
Buena construcción y material, se adapta a matraca de 3/8 pero desafortunadamente no se adapto a las muñecas del pistón de frenado en un Ibiza 2015 ya que la distancia entre muescas no coincide
