Safe and sturdy!

Saves so much time
My daughter insisted on doing her own wedding flowers, I bought her this stem cutter and it was a fantastic choice. Bolted to a cutting table, it was secure and sturdy. She was able to chop huge bunches at once. 2 dozen roses at a time - no problem. And a nice clean cut, no clamping of the stem. I've used it for hundreds of bunches now and its as sharp as new. A real timesaver.

good, but glue in the handle needs to be stronger <<this has been fixed:)
have bought a few of these from amazon.com, and have had to re-glue the handle. the handle comes off with use, so when they arrive, I remove the handle, add some gorilla glue, and have no problems.UPDATE for 2020:We have ordered a couple of these, they are slightly different. The metal is thicker, the foot print is different than ones in the past, but the blade is still sharp AF! Be extremely careful.We are cutting bunches of plants with a stem of appx. 1.5 mm and about 15-20 per stem. Hundreds of them a day. These last us about a year.

Transformed my flower shop!

Excellent stem cutter
Purchase this right before Valentine's Day! It definitely came in handy at the flower shop, as every other year we've just cut them by hand. Hand. Saved us a bunch of time! Hoping that it stays sharp, we do have someone in our small town that sharpens blades so I will try that when the time comes

Does the job
There seemed little alternative to this p[roduct when it came to looking for a stem cutter, and it had good reviews so I ordered it and it has proved to be an excellent tool, although it seemed a bit expensive. Robust and easy to handle, once it was screwed onto a wooden base. Although it was coming from the US, it arrived in the UK promptly - in fact a week early. No regrets making this purchase.
