Very flexible and dishwasher safe. the rubber seals kept the soup hot and the fruit cold. after multiple washes, the rubber seals for each compartment have not failed. Totally surprise and delight your child/spouse/loved one by dropping off their lunch in this. Get the version with the handle! About the size - for tea sandwiches, yes! For a large sandwich, no. I was able to fit a wrap that was cut in half - but not one of those Chipotle monsters! I suggest sliced fruit, soup, noodles, a wrap or sushi ... maybe chicken nuggets? You will impress someone with this.

We were looking for a lunchbox that wouldn't leak, and this one has been great for the past year. I like how the separate compartments all fit together in one piece and how the fork and spoon snap into the top of the lid. It's easy enough for my 5-year old to unsnap the buckles, and the whole box stays tightly together without leaks. I also like that we can put each piece into the dishwasher. It's nice not to worry about the lunch bag or backpack getting dirty from lunchbox leaks.One downside about this lunch box for younger kids is that there are little white stopper pieces in each lid that can come partially or fully out (on purpose to allow steam to escape when microwaving). Kids invariably remove them, and we had a couple close calls before finally losing one. We also lost a fork at school and had a buckle break. However, the seller has been great about helping me get replacement parts.

I returned because the small bento compartments were a bit too small for what I was intending to use them for but, I was pleasantly surprised but the Quality of the boxes and the Customer Service was excellent. Super happy with my experience and I will attempt to purchase larger bento boxes from the same company. Thank you:)

I haven’t actually used these yet because they are for my daughters birthday but I did unpack them and to wash and inspect. They were very easy to clean and seem very sturdy and pretty seal well so I imagine they will be very leak proof. The reason for my early review is because of the customer service I received before they even came. As I mentioned they are for my daughter for her bday. When I ordered them I didn’t realize how long it was going to take to receive them. Looking back over my several purchases for the day I saw that it was going to be like 4-6weeks. Well that wasn’t going to work because it would be way after when I needed them. I put in a cancel request and was just going to figure out something else similar for her instead that I could get sooner. They got back with me right away, not the 2 days later like I was told. They offered priority shipment for me and gave me an approximate date, the day before her birthday, but I actually got them even sooner. I can’t wait to give them to her, she will be so excited to finally have these. I tried them in one of her lunch boxes and they fit perfect.

Hopefully there is sales of replacement parts. My daughter lost a fork during one of the picnic session. Couldn’t replace that unless I buy the whole set.
