Perfect all around part & experience
This A.C. Hose was actually impossible to find through normal local automotive part stores. It wouldn’t even come up in their system as a part that existed. I’m extremely happy amazon had it. I just finished replacing the entire a.c. System on my 97 Silverado. I can’t imagine I’ll have any problems going forward. Thank you Amazon for supplying this part at a very reasonable price!!

End is not large enough for the orifice tube.
The orifice tube fits in the condenser and this hose connects at that point. With the orifice tube fully in place, the liquid line will not go over the end of the orifice tube as it should. I made sure I had the right tube and checked on other year models to see if there was a difference, which there is not. I finally trimmed the end of the orifice tube to a diameter small enough to slide into the liquid line.
