Well Designed Manual Waste Pump
Old school is more reliable. I removed a troublesome electric macerator pump and replaced it with a manual Whale MK5 pump for emptying my cruising sail boat head holding tank. This pump sucks out the tank and pumps overboard well (only done when more than 3 miles off-shore) and is much less prone to plugging than the more expensive electric macerator pump.
