1st, swapped out SSD to a SSD with Ubuntu Linux. 2nd, changed MS setting (uefi ?).3rd, turned it on and it has been running fine. Do like Lenovo products.

I needed a "new" computer when my home-built started flaking out (overheating and whatnot.)I am a diehard Lenovo fan and have installed quite a few in a corporate setting with very little problems ever. I could not care less about Windows 11 but knowing that many companies are being forced to replace equipment to get on board the MS train I figured this would be a good time to look at a refurb.This model (P310) is a favorite of mine, more advanced than my tired old tower and at just the right price I was looking to spend.The description said this was "Excellent" condition but I would call it more like "meh." Looks like it was blown out with a weak dust-off can but all-in-all it was way cleaner than what I see on a daily basis on my workbench at the office. At first I was like "wtf" but now that it has nestled-up next to my desk at home and is running like a dream I decided NOT to deduct a star for misrepresentation of condition and agree with the vendor that this is an excellent machine.The only trouble I had was realizing that the computer shipped with the BIOS set to only boot PXE Network so the installed SSD was never even asked if it wanted to try the boot-up. After accessing the BIOS and re-configuring the boot option to the correct drive it booted to that lovely "New Windows Computer" welcome screen and it was "off-to-the-races."I had to revisit the BIOS once more in order to VM support but once that was set my VM Ware was running better than ever. And with all these resources, I can afford to play around in there while multitasking out the yin-yang.Comes with very chintzy HID and it was a combo Wi-Fi/BlueTooth dongle so I just set them aside as spares.This is a commercial-grade piece of equipment which I fully expect to be using for many years to come - If I become disappointed in this purchase in the near term, I will return here to publicly eat my words ;)

The computers were covered in a black wrap to disguise the condition. The insides were covered in dirt and dust. I cannot believe I can trust these computers to last. They have antiquated parts and loud fans.I did know this until my IT person set them up on my network. I should return them. My issue is I spent several hundred dollars to have them set up. I don't even know if they have a warranty. They came without any paperwork.Please help!!!!!

The machine arrived well packed in mint condition. It really appeared like it had never been used. Did open the case to check things out and clean throughout. She's been in operation since January, 2021 which is going on 3 years and has performed flawlessly. One thing I do is do a complete fresh install of Windows and do not load up the manufacturers programs. This seems to keep the machines I set up happier, and everything in the Windows OS gets updated through the OS. The configuration is 16GB RAM with a 1 TB SSD and 3TB HDD which has been more than ample disk space, and she powers up very quickly, ready to get to work.I loved this machine so much that I purchased a P510 as a backup PC, but decided to outfit her for music production and just now getting it set up as well. Would not hesitate recommending either of these fine machines, they are an excellent value.The attention given by tech support in the refurbs has really been great. All quality components that will last for years. Definitely 5 stars all the way around.

I was a little worried about ordering a refurbished computer online, but the computer arrived in mint condition. The drives and memory appeared factory new upon power up. The computer was delivered on time in secure packaging. I've only had this unit for a month, so I can't make any long term claims, but initial quality is superb!
