Pretty. Awesome. Pretty awesome. just not terribly fast.
does exactly what it is supposed to do...provide a bunch of portable, fast(ish) storage.this was bought as a replacement for a lexar stick which was damaged when my cat knocked my laptop off my entertainment center...no moving pieces should mean less likelihood of potential cat-caused damage.the integral ring is a nice touch, to add to a keyring/fob/lanyard. also makes for a convenient gripping point for removing the drive, which--on my computer, at least--has a very secure fit.Speeds are okay. i didn't run any tests, but it took about 3 minutes to transfer 12GB of video files, which is fast enough for me...of course, it could be faster (usb 3.0 is supposed to support speeds of up to 640 MB/s), but for the price i paid, i'm happy.

good drive and will buy again
terrific looking usb flash drive. Read speed is awesome but write speed is a little light. Overall, good drive and will buy again.

Works great for taking your PC files on your keychain
I have two of these SP Jewel Flash Drives that I keep on my car keys ring, take them everywhere I go. One has my PC files that I keep updated every month or so and the second Jewel Drive has my CD Music collection in .wav format which takes a lot of space in storage. These do get warm when moving large files but they are metal covered which is good because that means they are conducting heat out to the air and not holding the heat inside.

Slowest USB I've ever owned and prone to breaking often.
Just plain awful and a rip off. If I could I'd give the whole line of these 0 stars but I can't leave a review at 0.This USB is falsely advertised as USB 3..0 and I'm not even sure it's 2.0 based off its transfer speeds. Earlier today I tried to transfer a 70 GB folder onto it that contained multiple sub folders. Once it finally settled in it provided me with an estimated completion time of 23 HOURS LATER. I let the task run but then plugged in another USB 2.0 drive to my other USB port and dragged/dropped the same folder onto it. That USB finalized the transfer in about 30 minutes. I let the keychain transfer continue to run for another hour before I started to receive multiple errors stating that the drive was full or that the source folder was missing files among other errors. Each time I'd get the errors the keychain would become unresponsive to me and I'd have to reformat it using disk repair and hope that the problem would be fixed this time, and each time the error repeated. I finally tried some other large files of different sizes in hopes that the issue was perhaps with the folder, but again the keychain USB would freeze up and I'd have to reset it. Meanwhile my other USB quickly completed its task and was having no problem with the same files. The only benefit is that it has a nice big keychain ring on it, but that doesn't last long to begin with. I've had three as they're cheap, and all three have broken or gotten corrupted somehow before a year was up. so I wised up eventually and moved onto higher quality USB's that, while anywhere from 20 to 40 more expensive, are worth every penny for their speed and durability.

Surprise!!
I purchased this product on 2 occassion, July 30, 2017 and I forgot the other date. I cannot assume what others went through but from my end this product is worth the money plus it is durable. It accidentally fell from me ultiple times but was fortunate it still works. Now its 2020 I am currently using the usb as a file transfer as well as storage. Currently, still kicking for 2 1/2 years and still going. Idk what happen to the 1stat reviews (i can think of many scenarios) but for future buyers this is a great product that does what its intended to plus more.

disappointing
after just a month or so of use, this unexpectedly electronically (not physically) disengages from the connection and I am forced to restart my work. I use this to transfer files from my laptop to my television

the reading speed is really good reaching up to 1
Item was well packaged. However the 128gb that the Jewel J80 advertises is no more than 115gb of available space. I have many other 128gb thumb drives and the available space on those is about 126gb available. Where are the other 10+ gigs I'm missing ? The writing speed on these is an average of 16 to 22MB/s, the reading speed is really good reaching up to 1.5GB/s. Overall I'm somewhat happy with the product if only the full 128gb were available or at least 125gb but not 115gb !

Good quality but higher priced but only type size in stock them
Was great but should have invested in additional key chain to not misplace, the price was a bit high
