TriNova Windshield Rain Repellent - Glass Treatment Causes Water to Bead, Increased Visibility While Driving Car, Truck, Boat, SUV, RV. 18oz

The media could not be loaded.  My opinion of this product is that works really great and causes the rain to roll off pretty quickly. Applied these to all sides of my car window.Pro:-Rain drops become small like beads. -Only begins to roll after building speed at 40 MPH-Lasts roughly a weeks worth of rain before have to re-apply.-Works really well on highways and freeways. -Visibility is still very clear behind cars and trucks leaving trails of slipstreams.-Rarely have to use my wipers.-Night drive oncoming cars doesn't blind your windshield vision.Con and Caution:-Night time drives with traffic and street lights well obscure your vision. You'll see every rain drop bead shining back at you since they're angled so high above. -First picture is example from dashcam view. From driver seat view much worse.-Have to use another windshield cleaning product to remove the previous rain repellent residue before re-applying a new coat.-If you mess up your technique of applying would leave swirls that can be seen very transparent. -When you rush the dry time or final wipe process. -The windshield sometimes get sticky and smear marks that are transparent droplets of the rain repellent.This rain repellent is pretty good for my first time purchasing thisUpdated 12/29/17So I finally had 1 day of snow. This repellent surprisingly does the the job prevent snow building up on your windows. Only had to deal with thin layer of frost and small amount of snow.For the really cold morning, I can always use a ice scraper only to find a tiny layer.

I have never used Rain-X so I don't have anything to compare this to, but it works quite well. It's true that unless it's raining very hard, you really don't need your wipers; the water slides off the windshield by the force of the wind or gravity, depending on how fast you're moving.I have been reapplying it fairly often because I live in South Florida where there are a lot of bugs, so the car gets washed frequently and I reapply it after it's washed. I don't know how long it would continue to work without reapplication.

Did what was recommended to me and got my Beast washed and cleaned up real nice. Put on the spray from the second bottle and did what was said on the instructions. I think now that it's a lot better! No streaks or gunky-like residue from after using it, either.

Water beads from windshield very well for the first few days. Must clean windows thoroughly before application. Wish it lasted longer, seems like after a few days in the rain the effect wears off considerably. Also helps bugs from sticking to windshield.

The product performs as advertised. The only thing that I can mention is that you need to make sure your windows are cleaned exceptionally well prior to application. I use Invisible Glass and Aquapel and I have probably over the years tried them all I believe.

After applying the solution. The surface remained smooth and easy to clean. Unlike other brand that I've used for many years, TriNova's hydrophobic effects is more long lasting. I'm very glad I switched over to TriNova. I use hydrophobic solutions for my shower screen, car wind screen, mirrors, TV monitors, window blinds and windows glass and kitchen counter tops etc the application is very versatile. A must have household product.

A little goes a long way! Powerful stuff! Use as directed, which doesn't seem like much, but this stuff is powerful. Rain beads off of windows making driving safer & less stressful during powerful storms / night time rain driving. Recommended for everyone. This product could seriously save your life by providing clear vision during even the worst rain storms. Since you use so little product, and you get so much, you are getting your monies worth! 5/5 stars.

I have used other products like this to repel rain and other stuff off the car to keep it cleaner longer. When I found out this product costed less and still has the same effect as other costly products, I was shocked. This product works better, and the beading of the rain lets me go linger without turning on my wipers.....I LOVE IT!!!!
