best stereo I have installed on my boat
As far as marine rated stereos this one is the best I have used hands down. Additionally, it has larger buttons and a simplified display which works great while I am moving on the water.I have installed a number of head units in cars and on my boat. The mount was different than the old aluminum slide. It was a plastic plate which had 4 stainless steel screws and mounted clean and easy. The unit is lighter than most and is obviously water proofed better than the other “marine grade” stereos I have used in the past. The wiring is the same as expected from a head unit. The only con I see from this unit is the volume control. It has a 2 zone volume which is great if you have a multi room or crow’s nest on your boat. But it is a glorified fader, I have a 4 speaker set up on a bowrider. So it is a bit annoying.Still a 5 star rating from me. I am very happy with this buy.

Good buy
Stereo works great, nice sound quality and features. Is amazing what you can do from the app to control it.Face cover doesn’t come with the stereo, you have to buy separate.

This is such a great Radio for on the water...I have it in two of my boats!
If you like high power music, ease of use, simple installation and reliability on the water than you must buy a Fusion Entertainment Marine Radio! I use one on my 16 foot Zodiac Tender for my 30 Foot Hunter Sailboat which also has the Fusion MS-RA70 with Bluetooth. Amazing quality and clarity...I highly recommend any of the Fusion Marine Radio and the remotes...never had a moments trouble with any of their products! Invest in the best...Fusion!

The mounting of the unit was easy and clever but the finish trim fell short of ...
I have a 2011 SeaRay 185 sport that I trailer at home with a Sony Stereo that needed to be replaced. After pulling out the old unit I needed to cut off the old plug in wiring harness and splice in the new one. It's not a difficult thing to do but it is challenging because there isn't any extra length of wire that you can pull on that would enable you to make all of the splicing outside of the compartment. Instead much of the work was done inside the small opening that the unit came out of.The mounting of the unit was easy and clever but the finish trim fell short of covering my existing cut out completely. A wider flange kit would be a great addition for installations like this unfortunately the unit did not come with one. I was able to adapt part of my old stereo trim to cover the opening and it looked great.I finished adjusting the settings and really love the way it sounds. Maybe I am old school but I felt the directions did not go into detail on all of the features that this unit offers and how to program them. For such a great product it's amazing to me that they would not put more emphasis in this area.

Very important issue
While the unit works as advertised there is a fatal flaw confirmed by Fusion customer service.I use my iPhone via bluetooth to play my stuff like a lot of people do these days. Every speaker/headphone device I have will let you change volume by using the phone volume buttons except the RA70. It turns out that the iPhone X volume buttons have no effect on the RA70. The company confirmed this is the case and this makes it kinda useless since you then need to use their app to change volume but their app won't let you use the slider to change what place you are in the song or story. So you then have to go to the apple music player app or audiobook app to rewind or fast forward. It's incredibly cumbersome this way and the company won't guarantee which phones actually do work. It's also dangerous if you're driving the boat and then have to go through all these steps just to change volume. The only solution is use a different phone or even better, buy a different head unit that actually works properly.

Best boat stereo I've ever listened to or used
This is by far the best sounding and easiest to use stereo I have ever seen on any boat. If you are a smartphone user, the Fusion Link app will be awesome. Our RA70 is mounted down in the salon while we mostly listen to it in the cockpit while underway. Being able to control all the functions from the app on my smartphone while at the helm makes life so much easier. Hopefully, it will be as long-lasting as it is functional. Great product!

Great Unit! Those Who Said this Unit is Not Loud Enough Don't Know How To Adjust EQ Settings
Great product. Very loud and clean sound! These Fusion marine stereos are a little more expensive than others, but you get what you paid for.You don't need an amp; just adjust the EQ settings. The sound is so clean!Very easy to install and the Bluetooth and app to control from your phone are pretty good.Again, you do have to adjust the EQ settings because it comes flat (0) from the factory.
