RUGCEL WINCH Winch Hand Control Assembly for Rated Pulling 1500lbs to 5000lbs 12V Electric Winch, Winch Hand-held Control Replacement (Yellow)

Had an old 2000 lb ATV winch that I mounted to the wall of my shop. Use that in conjunction with a block and tackle to lift things like my mower deck and an overlanding rig that goes in the back of my truck. This remote was perfect for adding the ability to lift and lower with one hand while "steering" with the other in the case of my overlanding rig.I did clip off the connectors and extend the wires a bit, as they weren't quite as long as I would have liked. I just used some 12 gauge low voltage wire for the extensions. I also added a set of alligator clips on the power wires to so I can just hook up to the battery as needed.Seems to be a solid product and makes it so much easier to do the heavy lifting in my shop.

Worked great for replacement control for a winch

Remote control worked as listed. My main concern is that the size of the wires seem to be undersized for the intended purpose. Also the wires for the unit could have been longer. Otherwise solved my problem.

I finally found a decent wench controller. The yellow ones are crap.

Installed and ran and tucked wiring after installation found out the unit was no good due to where my winch is located I could not test till after I had fully installed it so I wasted 4 hours for nothing

Bought for a freebie ATV winch hubby got. Just needed control. Works great, hubby had to figure out how to hook it up. The original control was just plugged in, so he had to figure out where to connect on the motor. WORKS GREAT!

Description says wire is 8' long. Wrong!! Wire is 5' long at most!!! TOTAL length of ALL wire is 8'!!! Wires to battery- 3'. Wires to motor 5'. Not long enough!! Junk.
