This Roadie is brilliant. I’ve always tuned my guitar with a clip on tuner. When I used the roadie3 the clip on shows different levels but the guitar sounds the best ever. Download the app and it’s so easy to use. It will also restring very quickly and to correct tuning level although I have not tried this yet. The booklet which accompanies the tuner also shows you how to correctly restring your instrument. Love it.

This Roadie 3 guitar tuner totally delivers on what it promises, so I'm giving it five stars. But it is a luxury, because it costs five times the price of a clip-on tuner that would do the job perfectly well.This tuner turns the tuning pegs for you, which is great - but of course you could easily turn the tuning pegs yourself! A big advantage of this one is that you don't need to remember the tuning EADGBE - this one does it for you. Or you can set alternative tunings and this one will remember it. So if you want standard tuning for one song and Drop-D tuning for another song, this tuner will switch between the two quickly. That is fantastic. But many players may never need that functionality. By the way, you cannot tune bass guitars with this tuner (you need to buy the bass version for that).I love this tuner. It really does achieve what it claims to achieve. I totally recommend it - especially if you like gadgets and can afford an expensive tuner. But if you just want a tuner, I recommend a Snark Supertight clip-on tuner at a fifth of the price.

I have always tuned by guitars by ear.Even on stage it was the quickest way.However, tinnitus and general hearing loss have made this process very difficult now I’ve hit 70.This gadget is brilliant.It tunes my electric and acoustic guitars perfectly. I can still tune pretty close by ear, but this thing tweaks it to perfection.It’s not a cheap thing, but if you want to get this best possible tune in the shortest possible time, it’s the winner.Easy to use - other than the awkward twisting your hand the read the bottom set of strings - but that’s down to the design of the guitar head not the tuner.Definitely worth buying if you are either a keen amateur player or a paid musician.🎼 🎶

It’s simple to use and is absolutely accurate. Amazing bit o’ kit.

Incredibly quick and accurate

It would not tune up the high E string or the B string on my les paul even though the tuner was on the right strings it kept saying it was not then suddenly it decided to over tighten the E string so much. The string broke with such a force I dropped the guitar as the string hit me and damaged the back of the neck. Do not buy this. I don’t care how good they say it is but it doesn’t work. It had trouble with the B string as well on the guitar, I’m really upset about the damage on my guitar of course, but this would not correctly tune the B or the E string and when I’ve read about it some people say the same thing it does do not do it correctly I’ve sent it back. and I now have a damaged Les Paul neck.
