Surprised at the awesomeness (7ft Medium Heavy)
So just got it took it out for the first time to put it through it’s paces and it held up well. Casts better and is more comfortable than any of my other bass rods past or current. Got this as a travel rod because bringing a 2 piece on a plane can get a little tedious. The four piece will actually fit in my check or carryon bag where as the two piece I had to awkwardly carry it in my hand then random people in the airport try to talk to you all the time “goin fishin ehe?” And now you’re stuck in an awkward conversation with a stranger when you’re just trying to get drunk before your flight... Anyways, back to the rod, shockingly has great sensitivity and even got to test the strength when I hooked into the ol rock fish. Figured since I was hung up anyways I’d turn up the drag see what the rod had and I cranked on it pretty hard, as you can see in one of the pictures, and it held up fine. The sensitivity was still great and could easily tell the difference between sand/grass/rock/fish bite while dragging the Dropshot without issue. Casting was amazing as well, honestly would like to use it as my main rod I just can’t bring myself to use a 4 piece rod as my daily go to, but as far as the test run went it held up quite well brought in a few spotted bay bas no problem and clearly has the potential to bring in larger fish. Was using it with my Lews Custom Inshore reel with 30lb braid and a 20lb mono leader tied on. Will test further and update the review as needed. Oh and it comes with a carry case with individual slots for watch rod section, full length of the rod broken down in the case was just under 2ft.One con is that the middle sections could attach tighter, after catching a fish the sections seemed to be misaligned where they connect in the very middle so the line guides were not in a straight line. Easy enough to fix with a minor tweak to the top half of the rod whenever you catch a fish. Don’t think it will affect performance but was noteworthy.

Well balanced and casts further.
The rod seems well made. Casts exactly where expected. The nine foot rod cast about 30% farther using the same reel, line and weight as my 2 piece 1990's Lamiglas 8"6" salmon rod of the same medium heavy power class. I do like the classic full grip of the old Lamiglas better than the more modern split grip of the Fiblink. I can live with this considering the longer casting range and the lighter, if somewhat more stiff action of the Fiblink Travel. I am retired and as such, I travel the world with my rods. I like the travel convenience, 4 pc of the Fiblink. Paired will with the Clear Creek rod tube and the Kast King Legend Reel.

Awesome salmon rod in Alaska
I needed a rod that was packable and that could hold a salmon if I got lucky enough to hook into one. I ordered the 7'6" heavy 4 piece rod and it did not disappoint! We were on Prince of Wales island and I hooked into this silver as it was spawning up one of the creeks on the island. I loved the way rod felt. It had a good bend on the tip with plenty of backbone to muscle it to the shore. I'll order a couple more after using this rod. It's a great value! I'm not sure how it would do on the Kenai river with the sockeye but I'll try it out next year and update this review.

Great reel for even heavy duty fishing, and fits in a carryon!
KThis rod arrived quickly from the shipper. It looked beautifully finished and felt great. I took it for a week long fishing trip to NW Ontario Canada. I caught numerous Smallmouth Bass and several Muskie using this rod and a KastKing Spartacus reel. I had no problems. the rod felt light, responsive and had plenty of power to handle the Muskie and large Smallies. I am very happy with the rod (and reel). It is my new favorite travel rod. Update 8/2019, , I just got back from the 2nd fishing trip to Ontario, Canada using this rod. It performed beautifully, I caught many Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye with this rod and a Team Daiwa reel. It was a great combination and had plenty of backbone to handle the fish fighting against some current, the fis, and rapid with large lures. I am very happy with this rod. And I pack it in my carryon!

Great quality
I like a good travel rod. This was for my grandson for our travels together. Ended up sending back as it was too stiff for him. But definitely would purchase again when he needs it.

Worth every penny.
7' M Heavy Action. This is definitely worth the money. Been on the water twice already.. I paired it with my Abu Garcia caster and it everything feels lighter, more sensitive and I can cast easier. I was using an Ugly stuck travel which cost more. If I can take it apart easily then I'll be buying another. It can fit in my luggage and comes with a storage bag.
