1979-1993 Mustang Sunroof Glass Rubber Weatherstrip Seal

The package says Daniel Carpenter 1979-93 Sunroof w/s on Glass D9ZZ-6650250. The year of my car is 1991. The quality of the rubber looks good. The felt had some spots missing near the glass edge. The fit was not very good. The length is pre-cut to approx. 107 inches. You have to really pull hard around the corners to get it to join on the ends. That makes your felt squished around each corner and you have approx. a 1/8 inch gap which allows debris to get in. On the straight edges, the felt barely makes a seal. It may settle over time. The worst part is that the overall length is too short. The main rubber part is approx. 3/4 inches too short so you end up with a gap. They say you can stretch it a little to make it fit but it doesn't stretch because there is metal banding inside the rubber part (or something else) that's prevents it from stretching. The poor fit and the felt are why the rating gets 2 stars.
