Take it from a Cubs fan, rock the Cincinnati
Being a Welding Inspector on sites and shops the terrain I face is as varied as it can be, one week I'm in the middle of nowhere Arizona in a mine; the next I'm in Pittsburgh in a fab shop. I need a boot that will perform but on top of that, be super comfortable. As a Cubbies fan I hate to admit that anything named after Cincinnati is worth anything, but these boots, as soon as I put them on I just knew. Yes, they are a bit on the heavier side but I'd trade a little weight for a whole lot of comfort.I've worn Keen for years, have tons of pairs of their shoes and sandals (one pair of the Newport sandles I had lasted over 10 years). So I knew they would fit my foot. Nice open toe box and the size is my usual 11.5 (normally wear a 12 in everything else). These aren't my usual work boots, but I can say, I won't wear anything else now.Coming up through the welding trade I Irish Setter western style boots because of sparks and grinding dust, but now that I'm older and my job is different I can wear laced boots again without going through a pair of laces every few weeks.Yes, these are heavier than the usual boot I'd wear, but I feel planted and the boot feels sturdy. Being that I don't "beat on" my boots like I used to, they should last longer than my usual boots. My usual knee and back pain is gone wearing these. My joints almost breathed a sigh of relief when I put them on. As another review described, they do look like "Herman Munster" boots, but screw it, they're super comfortable. Herman was a welder, so yeah, he knew what was up.Anyway, I'll update this at 6 months and a year to see where they stand as far as durability.

Best work boots so far
My husband goes through work boots like crazy usually. He has had these for 6 months and they are still holding up. He has replaced the insoles but the outter soles are still real nice. The leather has held up well too. They get dusty, muddy, stands in water and they are still in great shape. Definitely will purchase for him again.

Most comfortable boots I have worn.
Great boots. High quality. good support. the composite toe offers good protection. I like that the wedge sole on this particular model has more tread than most flat wedge soles. They have a nice generous toe box that allows me to wear heavier socks in the winter. I wear a 11.5 in most shoes and thats what I wear in these. They come with good removable insoles. I find the waterproofing to be good. The leather is good quality, and they seem to age well. I have bought the Cincinnati model 3 times in different variations and will probably buy them again.

Great buy, would definitely purchase again.
This is probably one of the most comfortable work boots I have ever owned. I just learn about wide toe boxes. This was one of the recommended composite toe boots. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not need to break these in too much. It took maybe a couple of days not weeks like the others I have used. They are very well constructed. I have owned them for about 2 months now using them for 5-6 days a week, I will probably buy another set once these need to be retired.

Great work boots!
My husband is very hard on his shoes and boots. He drives a truck for a living making deliveries all day of heavy material jumping in and out of the truck and these are the only boots that have held up for him. They are nice looking and wear evenly. This is our second time purchasing them and will definitely again.

Heaven for your feet
The media could not be loaded. I switched to keen louisville work boots about 2011. Prior to that I had worn red wings. Lately, I had developed some pain in my left foot that I couldn’t explain. The size 13 louisville boots had always been slightly too big, but the 12’s too small. I still don’t know why the pain started but I added the keen high arch insoles, then a medical grade insole..no improvement. I was looking for anything to help and noticed these keen cincinnati’s. in real life cinchona is just across the river from louisville, but in boot world these cincinnati’s are light years better than the louisvilles.I first noticed the weight reduction, then the fact that they are stretch laces but only one speed eyelet. I am still not a fan of the white soles, but trust me the way they feel you would wear bright purple boots if you had too. The Cincinnati’s run a little smaller than other keen utility boots which was music to my ears. Previously I had always just work two pairs of socks with my Louisville’s. so another side benefit is a lot less laundry. You can see from my pictures how the Cincinnati is a larger, taller boot on the outside, but i can assure you the foot bed is smaller. I was worried with only one speed loop I would not be able to get the boots tight, but that is where the stretch laces come in. They are neither hard to get off or hard to get on, the laces accommodate a good deal of movement. I have always thought boots without 2-3 speed loops boots (more if taller boots) would be hard to get on or off. But someone at keen has figured out how. This also is a good thing because anyone familiar with keen boots knows that the lacing hooks are notoriously bad for breaking laces. I stock keen laces because I have broken so many over the years.I could go on about the comfort, believe me, there is a world of difference. the composite toe is very functional and also something you forget is there - unlike cheap work boots there is no sacrifice in comfort for greater protection.I bought my first pair on try before you buy because I was skeptical. After wearing them for one day (btw, no break in period required), I came home and ordered a second pair. I am a big believer in rotating your shoes and boots. Giving them a day off extends their useful life as well as allows the boot to dry and the foot bed to recover.I am happy as I can be with these boots, and I hope you will be too.

Toe box not as wide as it goofily looks
I'll give 3 stars for now, been wearing for 2 weeks so maybe not broken in enough. Even though I went up a half size and got the wides, the toe box is just too snug against my big toes, especially my right which is a slightly wider foot under my weight. Pinky toe outside the composite toe. Need to make a 3E or 4E so I can get my real length. The leather on the toe got sliced on a pallet day one. Sole seems hard, but maybe needs time. Other than that, they're ok so far.
