HD visor
It works very well cutting down the blinding sun glare while driving. We have them in all of our cars.

The good thing is it works - the bad thing is ...
The good thing is it works - the bad thing is that it's just small enough to be inconvenient - only works in a car, nowhere big enough for a van (although the TV ads show it working for a semi truck). But in a 4 door sedan - it really does cut the glare both day and night. Built sturdy enough to last, although I did wonder what would happen if the car was in an accident and it came flying off in my face. But it definitely stopped the glare, which stopped the headaches I get from both bright sunlight and bright on-coming headlights.

Disappointing; Will Be Taking a Trip to the Post Office to Return
After reading reviews for several of these types of products, I finally settled on this one. It came yesterday and already I plan to return it. I ordered this one based on a reviewer who said you could clip it to the bottom of your car's visor which would enable it to useful for short people like me. So I did that but guess what? If you do that, you can't use the night visor! To use the night visor, you have to clip it to the top of the car's built-in visor, as recommended by the manufacturer. But if I do that, then I can't see through it as I'm too short (even though I already have the seat raised all the way). Nonetheless I did try to use the night visor because tonight was rainey driving home, creating a lot of glare. I looked through it as best I could but it was very blurry and did not HELP AT ALL. The day visor should work well, however, I purposely bought a day/night one to use both. Now I see I can use only one of the components. So I'm sending it back for a single day panel visor. Such a shame. I wish manufacturers would make a version for shorter people. And I wish the reviewer whose advice I took would have disclosed that you can't use the night visor mounting it the way she advised.

It works for me!
This is my second visor. I like the first one very much. I had to get another one for the family car. I use the first one in my work van. I mounted it on the lower edge of the van's stock visor. The clip on this HD Vision Visor has a rather large opening for the thickness of the van's visor, so it does not grip the van's visor tightly. I improvised by using a paper binder clip to clip one of the "blade" (for lack of better term) of the HD Vision Visor to the van's visor. I do not see any distortion of objects or the view ahead looking thru this visor. I usually drive at daytime, I use the two visors together and find no problem using both of them together. When I am ready to get out of the van, I swing the van's visor forward, towards the windshield to get them out of the way. I try not to move the HD Visor on its hinges often to keep it tight. I highly recommend this product....and yes there's clear protective plastic cover on the visors that you need to remove before use. :)

Too short in the night visor position, unless one is taller than 5'3" or so. Will NOT help short drivers!
Just wish that the night-time visor was a but longer---or deeper. Either that, or that I were taller than 5'3". I found myself, last night, trying to sit taller in the driver's seat, while driving, so as to get the effect of the anti-glare shield of headlights that the Visor is intended for. (Haven't used the daytime visor yet---there hasn't been any sun to block, around here, in a number of days. But THAT side of the visor is a bit longer than the nighttime. Oh well, I'll get used to just how it should sit, etc., with continued use, I hope!

Very Fragile!!
The only metal part here are the 4 small screws that hold the the two screens to their respective hinges. Alignment was an issue in my Toyota Yaris. With the car's sun visor hooked-on, the HVV is skewed a little. I had to unhook the visor to level out the HVV. What concerns me is when deploying the screen. You have to be VERY CAREFUL in pulling down the screen/s, hinges are very tight at first (I had to hold it near the hinge just to pull them down). And then they loosen up on the succeeding tries (3 for me ). Field of view, well..........just fine with me. I'm in a climate now that averages 40+ degrees C (104+ degrees F), I don't leave it in the car when I go to work, and bring it in when I go home. Don't want to see them flapping down when I left them UP! Don't expect them to last long. If it's ok for you to leave which ever screen deployed, then just leave it down. You'll save the hinges. Other more permanent alternates would be to Tint-up or get some groovy-looking sunglasses.
