Great camera worth the money
Great camera! Amazing picture when out of water or under water .. and what can I say about the company they were great in helping me set up even when I didn't have a clue above and beyond this company would recommend and use these again and again .. in fact we have recommended to some friends .. thank you

amazing product crystal clear veiw ,,
this a bargin and 100% quality clear video livestream i have put the Camara in my indoor pond i get to watch my kio interact and watch them mate and spawn ,,it took a while to set up but it does its job and very happy with it ,,

Good product
The media could not be loaded. I used it for my fish pond.The technical support was very good and the guy helped me to under and get the software running

Good camera, but rubbish software
The camera is hefty and the image is quite good. But don't bother with the included software. If you try to connect a browser to the camera directly it also won't work. It will try to get you to download some other unknown Chinese software, but don't!Download the free version of Netcam Studio. Load the server software on a PC and add the camera using the default IP and username, select Hikvision as the brand. Go to global settings, server settings and fill in the name of your PC and it's local IP as the "external IP". Now you can use any device on your home network to view the camera via the PC.

Poor for use in river
The build of the camera promised much but the actual camera parts performed poorly for the use I needed. The software was very poor indeed.The low light performance is poor making the video dull and grainy in only 6 feet of water. Unsure exactly why but moving fish were smeared out suggesting a low frame rate.The camera uses a fixed IP192.168.1.50 which will not suit many home routers. It was necessary to set up a local PC connection to use the windows software to change the camera IP. When that was done it failed to change the subnet anyway. The only way to get it to work was to change the router subnet to suit it.The camera has no web interface that works with current windows. Accessing it with a browser just prompted a download which turned out to be ActiveX components which have been obsolescent for years and are certainly no longer supported by current Windows at all.
