You can't afford to not buy this!
Just what the doctor ordered! Bought this to replace the carb on my Grandfather's old tiller. It fit perfectly and worked like a charm! With the filter, fuel lines, and spark plug included, it's hard to find a better value that actually works!

Easier than a rebuild
I bought this for a Mantis tiller that wouldn't stay running after sitting since last spring. I figured the diaphragm needed to be replaced and went to Amazon for a rebuild kit. Instead, I found this new carb at a very reasonable price. It comes with new fuel lines and extra primer bulbs. Installation was straight forward of removing the air cleaner, then the two screws holding it on. The hardest part of the job is seating the grommet for the fuel lines in the tank and you'll need a small screwdriver or similar tool to help seat it in the tank. Once assembled, the tiller started right up but idled high so I brought the idle screw down until the tines stopped turning at idle. When I throttled up, the engine bogged down so I gave the high-speed screw a half turn out and its now very responsive on the throttle. Great value for the money and the machine runs like brand new.

Hipa C1U-K54A Carburetor for Mantis Tiller
Great buy all the way around. Carb fit perfectly for Mantis Tiller 7222M. Very easy to install, seems well made. Tiller started up on first pull and needed no external adjustments. Steady idle and can hande workload. Came with nice extra parts insluding gasket set and bulb primers. Very good packaged deal I already ordered another set and extra air filters. All in all, I am glad I made this purchase, twice!!

just what old Mantis tiller needed
Had trouble with my old Mantis tiller starting. Once I got it started it bogged down under load. Made some adjustments and appeared to be working ok. Shut it off and couldn't get it started again. Checked fuel lines and one appeared to have hole. Had an extra grommet and was able to finally, after an hour of trying, to get fuel lines thru the grommet holes. Still no joy. Still thought it might be the old fuel line we used so was going to order the line already thru the grommet since didn't want to go thru that ordeal again. But then came across this product and it was perfect! Tried just the fuel lines 1st but no joy so put the new carburetor on and bam! Tiller started & is working great. Glad I went with this kit at great price. THANKS!

Fair after adjusted
Ended up being an ok carb. Description said factory set no adjustment needed. BS. Trusted that and tried to use it. Would start an idle just a few seconds. Had to get ready with the throttle and pull it and off we went. Thought maybe it was the spark arrestor and took that all apart. Clean. Thought maybe the tines on my mantis was jammed or something. I was looking for anything. Finally said maybe they lied about adjustment and put it on bench and tweaked it till it runs like a new one. They should leave out the part about being in adjustment from factory and state, may need adjusted. So I have about 3 hours invested in making it run. Not pleased
