ADB12296 Silicone Air Tubing for Aquarium, 25-Feet (Assorted Colors)

I got tired of the stiff air tubing that just feels cheap after a year or so of use. This stuff is super flexible and squishy, doesn't seem to dry out and I haven't experienced any CO2 leakage or any other issues.

Standard sized air tubing that is very supple, flexible and bright blue in color. The size was correct for a nice tight/sealed fit to my air pump, air distribution system and airstones.I found the tubing to be easy to work with, bend and cut. The photo shows the new bright blue silicone tubing on my air gang versus a short length of lighter green silicone that is over 15 years old but still supple and flexible. Having used silicone based tubing in the past it maintains its suppleness for years and years and is a better choice in that regard than standard plastic tubing which although crystal clear tends to get brittle and hard.

I purchased this to use with sponge filters in 4 of my 6 tanks. I’ve been using it for roughly 3 months and it’s been great. I haven’t had any rubbing off of the blue color, as another reviewer mentioned, and the tubing is not super noticeable in the tanks. The primary reason I got this was because the traditional tubing was too hard for me to put on the attachments. This silicone tubing has solved that problem for me. It’s super easy to get on and fairly easy to take off of various attachments.

I like this tubing a lot. It is very soft and flexible and lays right where you place it. It is very stretchy and does not come off of the air fittings. If you are using this in a space where you also run multiple power cords, the blue tubing makes it easy to tell what is air and what is power... black tubing tends to blend in with your power cords. It costs more, but is very good quality. I will be buying some more...

I was drawn to the unique color of dark blue this hiding comes in. It looks really good in the tank for air bubbles.

Great product

This airline tubing smells badly of silicone and it's rather soft material.I only installed it a few weeks ago, so only time will tell how well these hold up.The color isn't as dark as pictured, either. It's a light blue.
