Works fine for Power Pole replacement fluid and a little less money. I have a fitting leak that I need to get fixed and haven't gotten to it yet. I was able to discover the problem after refilling with this fluid and using the Power Pole.

Everyone knows you need to keep oil in your chain saw. But, it is so easy to forget about the lubricant in your electric log splitter. This is especially important for brand new splitters, where the instructions for checking hydraulic levels are confusing.Many new splitters are sold with the bare minimum amount of oil required.To properly check hydraulic level, stand splitter VERTICALLY on its tail with plug facing skyward. Not horizontally. Not at 45 degree angle. Fill reservoir to max line on stick.Admittedly, most electric log splitters will not lose much oil under normal use. But, make sure you start with the proper amount; and check regularly. It only takes a minute.When stored, the pet cock should be closed to exclude moisture and debris. In use, pet cock should be opened several turns to avoid bursting seals. Hydraulic fluid might escape without visible notice.This oil is compatible with Harbor Freight and WEN electric splitters (based on personal experience.) I assume it would be OK with other brands, but always check with manufacturer before purchasing any hydraulic fluid.

Greet lube. It's bio-friendly that's a huge plus. It makes my nip nips a little puffy though.

This oil works perfectly and is a great choice when it comes to protecting our environment.

Worked for what i needed and was cheaper than the name brand that came with the equipment.
