Works with a little modification depending on your car
On my Ford the product did not fit my orifice tube the way the old one did and when I looked at it its that on the white side there’s an extra two tabs that form an + when you look at it from the end. I trimmed off the excess 2 tabs to make it look like the old one and it worked fine. Next time I’ll just order a Ford specific one for my car, 2008 crown Victoria.

buy a few, designed to catch junk so compressordensor
got my Mercury G. Marquis' A/C rolling good again. vacuumed system with vac pump, opened line just outside underhood hvac box on lower ac line and cleaned out line best i could. popped new orifice tube in and recharged system. still blowing cold four, five months later. hindsight? this one is direct OE replace. now i see there are hotter and cooler climate spec parts that may have been better choice for me.
