Really quick and easy install for my 2008 C6. No more sagging hood. Makes a satisfying sound as the hydraulics do their thing.

Installed on 2008 C6 corvette front hood. Perfect fit, perfect compression/extension pressure, just minutes to replace....hint, as suggested in a previous review: open the hood and use a prop handle to keep hood open and square for replacements. I used a telescoping window washer handle.

Works Fine on 2005 C6 Coupe
Amazon filter system says this item does not fit 2005 C6 Coupe. However, based on title and other reviews I went with it. They fit just fine. Installed very easily. Just remember, you need to pull the tabs to remove your old ones. The new ones just snap on. Read the instructions afterward, and your not supposed to do that apparently. So pull out the tab when you do it. I would start by attaching to fender first, and then hood. The reverse, especially on driver side, is very difficult. I decided to remove from hood after a minute or two and go the other way.This are very strong compared to my stock ones. Of course, those didn't really hold the hood up anymore with just the lightest breeze. After install, I actually needed to pull the hood down from the center to reduce twisting. I'm assuming that will ease up, but over all very happy.I saw one review that said the connections are sloppy. That is not my experience. However, I did have one of the ends not screwed in all the way on delivery. I tightened them all the way down, and they were solid as a rock.
