Outstanding
[edit: bought second one, these are nice]The color temperature was a little cool out of the box, easily corrected thanks to the firmware onboard. Cover glass is very good, looks sharp, easily viewable way off to the side. I'm building an HMI for a machine controller, but I'm handling all of the UI and display myself. I just needed the display, memory, power supply, and management IC and this delivers. Plug and play, works perfectly in Linux, has onboard image scaling in case you're using it with a system that insists on 1920x1080 resolution (some gaming applications). The cables included are just long enough to set the host device beside or behind the display but they're quality. For a more permanent solution you'll need to select cables suitable for your specific use case since system integration is beyond the scope of the display module. This keeps costs low, provides a workable solution, and prevents us from buying cables we may not even need, so I appreciate the decision. The screws at the corners hold the display module, front, and back of the case together and provide an easy point for you to attach custom mounting options to the rear. If you'd rather add bolts, use adhesive, or something else like nanotape, the rear of the case is nice and flat. The two-position kickstand works very well and doesn't collapse accidentally in my experience, it has a nice cam detent molded into the stand. Don't forget to 'calibrate your display' in whatever OS you're using to get your touch digitizer coordinates where you want them but mine was pretty close to begin with.

Works out of the box
Works great out of the box on my Raspberry PI 2B, unlike the one I had previously bought here on Amazon. (APROTII 7" B0BBT2SLKS).Pros:Fully enclosed. No exposed circuit boards.Cons:The provided cables are too short, almost to the point of being laughable. The text on the screen is a little squashed but readable.I look forward to using it on my new Libre Le Potato Pi clone once I figure out how to load it and get it too boot Debian Bullseye. (Apparently it requires an added boot loader.)

Works very well. Needs longer cables though.
I'm happy with the function and quality of this display. I would buy again. It just needs to come with longer cables. As it's just too short to be very useful as it is packaged.

Great little screen...
Mine stopped working, but it was still well within the replacement period.Nice clear, crisp images on the screen. Good color, contrast, very readable. HDMI input (cable included), VGA input (wierd connector and no cable provided), USB-powered, TouchScreen (Micro-USB), and headphone port. Fits in your hand, at about 6 inches wide and about 1/2 inch thick, like carrying a really thick but smaller android tablet. Comes with a very sturdy wire stand, but the back has a folding bracket it can stand on as well (just hard to open).I'd give this 5 stars if the first one didn't fail on me right away, and I may bump this up after I have the replacement for a while.
