Taste good. Not too sweet

I like the texture of this almond butter, it is a tad bit gritty but at least it’s not liquidy.

Its creamy yes. But it contains CANE SUGAR. So if you are looking for a high protein source and natural product this is not it. It also states the almonds are roasted which looses the nutritional properties of almonds. Stick to the reliable brands even if a little more expensive.

I purchased a 1 lb 11 oz jar of Wellsley Farms almond butter. The front label reads ALMOMD BUTTER - "Dry Roasted Almonds with Sea Salt." Upon opening it, I found it tasted sweet like Skippy peanut butter and became suspicious. Sure enough, the ingredients on the back label read....Dry roasted almonds, CANE SUGAR, PALM OIL, and sea salt. This is so disappointing. It is less expensive because they have "stretched" the almonds with palm oil and sugar, upping the total sugars per serving to 3 gms which includes 2 gms of added sugar. So appalling that Wellsely Farms would make it appear as if almonds and salt were the only ingredients on the front label in large print, like many healthier alternatives do. I feel so misled and swindled after buying this huge quantity of product I will have to throw away.

Would prefer the same without the added sugar and palm oil.
