looks great, buy an oem switch for it. directions are poor but install was fairly simple

Absolutely no problems. Easy to install, no hassle wiring. People complain about no instructions, cheap wiring. Wasn't my experience at all. Tapped the power into my high beams and boom. Outstanding light.

I like the light for its function in the 'mock' hood scoop on the Tacoma. However, for a $100 I expected better. First it doesn't have any instructions so you just have to figure it out on how to take your scoop apart to mount it. 2d, the 'special' mounts for the bar are no different than any other light bar included mounts and it actually makes the light bar sit high. I had to flip the mount on its side to allow the light bar to sit flat on the base leaving a large gap between the mount and the plastic scoop base. The light looks much cleaner this way but don't overtighten the mount on the bottom or else it will start to bow the bottom of the plastic. I thought about using washers to fill the gap but I didn't have enough at the time and I didn't want it to look like crap because you can still see all the hardware through the vent if you look closely. The light itself is bright and again is a great concept. Just think I could've found a similar solution that is a quarter of the price and maybe even a longer bar to fill more of the scoop. But I like you probably read alot of reviews on this and everyone raved about it. Be honest guys so others (like me) know what to expect and can consider something that is cheaper.

The switch is cheap but the light seams good

Very self explanatory if you have a sliver of common sense.Remove the hood scoop, remove the black plastic piece, center the light, Mark the holes for the light and wire, drill holes, secure the light to the plastic and reinstall scoop. Run the wires through the voids in the hood and replace the supplied switch with a dash switch from Amazon. Wire it up and you’re done.

Fits great installation was easy.

I installed it, wasn’t bad, had a pro shop wire it up using a Scoop light switch I bought online, I didn’t use the switch supplied. Nice light.
