Perfect Oil for High-Heat Cooking and Cast Iron Care
Iโve been using Pompeian 100% Grapeseed Oil for cooking, and itโs great for high-heat applications like deep frying and baking. Itโs also fantastic for use on my cast iron cookware, helping to maintain the seasoning without any overpowering flavor. The light and subtle taste works perfectly in various dishes, and the 68 FL. OZ. size offers great value. Highly recommend it for anyone who cooks with cast iron or needs a reliable, versatile oil!

Wonderful oil for frying, baking quick breads, salads
I have gone from using "generic vegetabloil oil,. To using Graveseed,Olive, and avocado oils for most every thing that I cook that requires oils, (if it calls for a more solid form I use butter or lard, not shortening or margarine! I'm over 80, grew up on a farm, and learned to cook at my grandmother's knee!! She lived to be well over 80. Preservatives were salt,Sugar, pressure canning, pickling, and freezing and dehydrating, root cellers were popular then too, and I can't remember being under nourished until "processed foods" hit the market in the mid 50s, TV dinners, canned or boxed dinners!!! I'm over 80 and still "cooking" every day, fresh veggies, fresh meats, preservative free baked goods, etc., now on to the flavor of this oil, it's a very light nutty flavor which lends to frying and sauces, and salad dressings, I use it in making some Pestos, particularly in almond and other nut based aioli type spreads !! However I don't use it as a "replacement" for "olive oil" as that I use "first cold pressed virgin oil " (and same brand!) I want to also tell you it has a good shelf life as long as it's kept cool and dark, do not store oils kept "on the kitchen counter" in clear glass or plastic bottles light and heat "age" cooking oils(can you say "rancid" ๐คฎ๐ตโ๐ซ) I refill my "opaque and labeled" kitchen counter use bottles about every two weeks. I keep my supply larger (1/2 gallon) containers in a dark botton cabinet! This is "good stuff" ๐

Plastic bottle
Glass bottle instead of plastic one would be much better

Nice neutral oil
I use this oil for a lot of my cooking. It has a neutral taste and can cook at high heat. I especially like it in cast iron pan, as it creates a nice coating and makes the pan non-stick. It's good for frying, saute, preserving and pickling, and baking too. The bigger format works out a bit more economical and lasts me a long time.
