firstly, the finish on the mounting hardware is horrifying. the chrome is lousy at best, and the poorly finished jagged edges can easily slice a finger open. my God, WHY??? there are numerous blemishes in the metal and i have to wonder in amazement how the person who electroplated these P.O.S didn't reject them out of hand. the plastic (Lexan?) shields seem well made. guess I won't actually put them to the test, because i simply can't bring myself to mount these ugly things on my bike. (not that I really could anyway, because, inexplicably, while the shields themselves are gently curved, the brackets are perfectly straight. WHAT??? China all the way.

I RESEARCHED A LOT OF WIND GUARDS (NOT HAND GUARDS) AND THERE ARE FEW THAT ARE DESIGNED JUST FOR WIND. SOMETIMES IT'S DIFFICULT GETTING A GOOD FIT WITH A GENERIC PART. THESE FIT MY 2012 HD DYNA SWITCHBACK WITH MINOR ADJUSTMENTS. I ADDED A FLAT WASHER TO BETTER CLEAR MY TURN SIGNALS AND I WAS GOOD TO GO. THE AMBER LIGHT HITTING THE EDGE OF THE CLEAR SHIELD HAS A COOL EFFECT.

These will not fit my Indian Scout - the mounting bracket for the mirror is too short and does not allow the clutch and brake levers to fully extend out. They look nice and feel like good quality but double check the length of the mounting bracket - would have been nice to see dimensions on the site - also no instructions included but you can figure it out.

Bought for a V Star 1300. Throttle side works fine. I could not get the clutch side attached in any useful position. Does not appear that bracket can be modified to work.Does appear to be a decent product, just did not work for my application.Will probably just bite the bullet and pay for Memphis Shades or National Cycle deflectors.

Got a set of these for my Wife's bike a while back and they make a huge difference in how long she can ride. They don't quite center up on her bike but I have extensions on my mirrors and they sit perfectly.

These things are made of the cheapest plastic ever invented. I put them together (with no instructions) and they cracked and fell apart. There is no protection between the metal and plastic. I didn't even bother putting them on my bike.

These are a good "universal" fit.I had to do some customizing on the brackets to fit a Triumph Bonneville but they turned out great.

They are NOT universal. They fit my 97 1200 Sportster only after I did some cutting and trimming. I only plan on using them for cold weather riding anyway so they do the trick by keeping the wind from hitting my hands directly.
