Whoever said these are too heavy just baffles me. I guess maybe if you're an elderly lady that could be an issue. I for one have never found a knife with solid rigid blade and quality handle with weight and mass but still has a micro serrated blade. It's a straight chef's blade with micro serration. Not some goofy wavy blade like I recently purchased from Amazon. These knives are amazing and I'm surprised that I like the small one very much. Typically I like a full size chef knife. But the small knife is large enough to cut easily through a large tomato without feeling like the blade is too short and I'm not wielding such a big knife on my tiny cutting board.I could not be happier with this knife set. The quality is leaps and bounds beyond most micro serrated knives I've been able to find in the last few years that are all made overseas with flimsy blades, tiny tangs inside cheap plastic handles that weigh nearly nothing in your hand. All in all thrilled with this purchase. And that's after I just spent $80 fancy celebrity promoted knife that has a similar weight to these but requires honing and sharpening.

I got these knives for my boyfriends' Christmas gift. I guess in reality they're more for me because I hate using his old knives which don't cut well. They're good quality German knives comparable to my Wusthof ones.

both knives cannot even cut bread!! absolutely a waste of time and money,cerated knives are incapable of cutting anything,Do not order,if you have.... throw them out as they are dangerous, cut so poorly they will likely injure anyone

High quality and design

I like these knives for how sharp they are & the little effort it takes to slice through meat or vegetables. Upon arriving the package they were in was open therefore the knives were just laying in the box.

They are sharp with a micro serrated blade. I recommend checking the edge of the blade, on my first set, one of the knives had the edge bend. You can check that carefully sliding your fingers through the sides of the edge, be careful DON'T TOUCH the edge, if it is bent you will fill the irregular edge to one side, it's very small, you don't see it, but you can feel it, and when you cut a potato you will see as you cut the knife will make the move turning to one side, doesn't go straight down. I got the replacement without any problem.Also, I like to say that the blade is too thick. To cut a potato you feel a displacement, to cut tomatoes, it give you a solid and easy cut.

Yep, I'm lazy. I don't want to mess around with sharpening and honing knives. The reality is I'm just Not going to do it. These micro serrated knives are the perfect solution. They stay sharp for years and years. I just replaced a 10 year old set of similar knives. These are so comfortable and easy to hold and feel good to use. An excellent value. Grab them, you'll love them to if you want a quality, comfortable, fuss-free set of knives.
