Dorman 3157W-SMD 3157 White 5050SMD 20LED Bulb Compatible with Select Models

I returned these bulbs for two reasons:1) The description states: "These direct replacement bulbs are an essential component for driving safety." However the packaging clearly states "For Off-Road or Show Use Only" in small print, presumably because these are not DOT approved. I also suspect they couldn't pass the DOT approval process because there is very little difference in light output between the running light and the blink/stop light. Borderline dangerous. Are you going to get stopped by the police for having illegal tail lights? Maybe.2) The packaging states: "Error Free" LED, but my 2014 Jeep Wrangler, and probably any newer Chrysler (because they all use the same computer module), clearly thinks that your blinker bulbs are burned out because these units draw so little current. Good for the environment, but definitely not "Error Free" - it should say: "Guaranteed Error". Yes, there are resisters that you can buy and install that will trick your car's computer, but since this is direct replacement for the 3157 bulb, why do I have to hack my car's wiring harness to make it work like a 3157 bulb.I didn't buy these lights to blind the drivers behind me with "super high light output", save a few watts of power consumption at the back of my car, or start a project hacking into my car's wiring harness. I bought these lights to replace a burned out bulb so that I wouldn't have to replace them again, and they didn't do the job.

Replaced both blinker lights with the LEDs and they blinked very fast. Pulled them out and went back to the OEM

Awesome, slightly brighter, and no dimming, when step on brakes !

These would turn on and blink, but they would blink fast just the way the car did when the factory build was burnt out. This happened on two vehicles. The vehicles can't detect the new bulls is there, so it still thinks the light is out or blown.

Not as bright as I expected.

Nice and bright. Dodge ram does require a resistor.

My 2013 Jeep doesn't recognize the led light and gives error message and continues to blink extra rapidly as if the bulb is out. I returned it.

Love these lights, really improves the visibility of my vehicle.
