Repair Manual for BMW R-Series 70-96

I got this for my ‘74 BMW R75/6, it’s at least 4 times thicker and more comprehensive than the Haynes manual for the same bikes!These air heads always get clumped together, but they have some subtle differences (especially the ‘74 year) that make it hard to follow some of the older style dyamgrams in these manuals - sometimes they picture 4 different ways the wheels could have gone together etc depending on which bike you have etc.I will say that maybe it’s just me, but I pretty much need YouTube vids to help with some of the more technical and difficult operations, I don’t find the manual to be sufficient.Anyway, I’ve heard the BMW service manual is geared towards their trained techs, so this is probably as good as it gets. One other hint is using the bmw microfish for parts online as it usually shows they way parts go together and often times with photos of the part, and in greater detail than this manuals diagrams.

This manual contains very important information that's important for all maintenance tasks.

This is not the too thin to have enough info type of manual. It is full of info specs and pics. I'm very pleased.Tony

It's the best there is for BMW Airhead twins.

This is a very thick book, but the thing I wanted most was all the torgue settings for each process but the only settings are a rather broad table of bolt size by mm and torque for those sizes. Still worth the money.

Bike manual arrived in very timely matter. Was wrapped and protected excellently.
