Is a real Eaton e-Locker at a great price
What i liked was the price and the product. What i didn't like was that it arrived damaged. The switch was crushed by movement of the differential inside the OEM display box. It was not double boxed or cushioned other than the OEM box. The good news is i called EATON vehicle support and they are sending me a new switch and harness for no charge. The EATON support guy made sure he told me the "EATON Store" on Amazon is not a part of the EATON corporation. I could have returned it to Amazon but i have an appointment with an Axle guy to install it Monday.I also ordered:Axle seals: Two Timken 5131 SealsBearing Kit: USA Standard Gear (ZK D44-REV) Master Overhaul Kit for Dana 44 Reverse Rotation Front DifferentialThis E-Locker 19977-010 will be going into the front end of my 1978 F-150 Dana 44

Damaged...
The locker arrived with dents and one distorted tab. I'm not sure if the dents are just cosmetic or they can cause the locker to malfunction.

Very poor OEM packaging
Box arrived intact, however the locker itself was packaged VERY poorly by the manufacturer. Very little support and no foam protection. Metal tab broken off locker stator assembly and actuator switch smashed to pieces in the plastic bag. Box was factory sealed so it's a manufacturer issue. Called Eaton and they offered to send parts. Chose to return it instead and order another. Won't give them a 3rd chance so the next one better be intact!

Great traction
Used to replace other brand elockers in a 2008 Wrangler Unlimited that had stopped working. Provide great traction on the trails here in AZ. This jeep is used only for moderate trails so i can't attest to how they perform on hardcore rock crawling trails.

It showed up with chips in it . Should I return it . It seems like it'll effect the balance and vibrate

Eaton E-Locker DANA 44 non Rubicon rear
The media could not be loaded. Packaged goodCheck your application with Eaton before you order. This states it does not fit my application but it is the correct part number I need.
