CARPROFlash Pad 5"

These are incredible pads for quick spot repairs of scratches. They are very aggressive so you really need to be careful you do not burn through the clear coat. I use these in conjunction with Shine Supply Flat Top to remove minor to fairly deep (not to the base coat) scratches. As long as there is clear left in the scratch you can level the surrounding clear and remove the scratch. That said, you have to be very careful with these pads. You will burn through your clear if you are too aggressive (even with a random orbital like a PC7424).For very light scratches you can use this pad and buff until it is completely gone. On deeper scratches, unless you have a paint gauge to test depth, I would buff the scratch until the edges of the scratch are fairly rounded and the scratch blends well from 3 feet away. If you get too aggressive with a deep scratch and you do not know what you are doing you will burn through the clear. I really do love this pad and you will have great success if you know what you are doing.

cuts paint incredibly and finished with little to no marring

These flash pads work great if you know what you are doing. They cut fast and level the paint very well. For true paint correction these are awesome but if you’re a novice and/or inexperienced, I’d suggest you go look at the pads from chemical guys as they are more forgiving of inexperienced users.

These things are super hard so have the entire pad seasoned or it WILL scratch!
