Handy Vegetables
I ordered a case of these veggies because I wasn't going out to the store for a few weeks. I'm happy to have them on hand when I don't have fresh vegetables. However, I do not like the taste as much as I enjoy frozen or fresh veggies. These taste overcooked but are a good product in a pinch.

Good Veggies at Your Front Door
Having a case of good veggies delivered to my front door is way better than lugging them to and from my car's trunk. These are a tasty blend of carrots, potatoes, peas, corn, green beans, celery, and lima beans, reminiscent of the medley in good canned vegetable soups. I'm eating more veggies. So, great taste, the Subscribe and Save pricing and front door delivery make this a 5 STAR WINNER!I usually use canned goods more in winter when fresh local veggies are out of season. The usual vegetable source strategy had FRESH as primary, Frozen secondary then CANNED. I was buying local and seasonally to decrease my carbon footprint UNTIL the salmonella and e.coli outbreaks scared me and have me resorting to canned goods year-round. Most often canned goods are heated to a temperature that kills most of the "bad stuff". The downside is canned goods have more added salt AND may be from genetically modified organism (GMO) sources. Adding to my "heebie-jeebies", so much is from China with dubious additives and standards. So I'm playing "foodie russian roulette" and betting on canned goods for now :)FYI Seneca foods sells canned goods under the MANY recognizable labels including your local store brands, so don't be a label snob if you can help it!

Best mixed vegetables
Libby makes the best mixed vegetables I've ever bought in a can. Usually, everything in the can ends up tasting the same.. but not so with Libby's. The green beans taste like green beans and the potatoes aren't compete mush. That being said, the only gripe I have about this is that there are A LOT of carrots in these. Tons. More carrots than anything else. I personally don't mind, but my daughter doesn't like cooked carrots. I suppose she will have to get over it though, because I'm never buying another brand of mixed vegetables.. these taste excellent.
