ARBOMETJHKS Old Man Emu Complete Suspension Kit

Finally got around to installing this on my 03 Jeep Wrangler Sport.A few things I want to point out to my fellow TJ owners-The HD springs ride great and much better than stock. Please make sure that you measure the front springs because one of them are slightly taller to help with the lean issue-The HD springs with a soft top and no bumpers with actually be around 3.5 inches of lift, so you WILL need a slip yoke eliminator and new drive shaft. I went with Adam’s DC style grease-able. I know it’s a bit pricey but it’s the right way vs lowering your transfer case and losing clearance. I also replaced the transmission mount (manual) while I was installing the kit.-Get adjustable control arms. I’ve read you only need the lowers but I bought the entire set to fix the pinion angle on the rear driveshaft. If you do end up getting the ACA, replace the 2 bushings on the front axle for peace of mind.-I had to get my exhaust re-routed by the rear track bar so be on the lookout for that.-This kit does NOT come with the spring spacers but I didn’t need them anyway.This is also a great time to inspect for any worn bushing’s and or joints while you have everything apart. I haven’t taken it off-road yet and will update this if I remember to do so but I can tell you it handles great for on road use.

It’s a good kit and it rides great. I installed it myself in about eight hours. The one thing I didn’t like, it came with a bracket to re-position the rear track bar arm. It’s a pain to get this thing on and it’s just more bolts to come loose. They should scrap the bracket and let users buy a new adjustable rear track arm. My issue, I carry a lot of gear at times in my jeep. Also I carry a tool kit and 5 gallons extra fuel all the time. Sometimes the rear end sags a little bit, lower than the front. I need to get either a heavier duty spring of the same size or one a little longer. If anyone reading this can shoot me a recommendation I would appreciate it.

This is my second set in my second Jeep TJ. This ride is remarkable. Best lift kit you can buy if you want an amazingly comfortable Jeep ride. I do wish the kit was 3” however, with the 1.25” body lift, I now have the overall height I want with the amazing ride quality on and off trail and the ability to do a tummy tuck.Bottom Line: Buy It!

The item did not contain all items pictured and there is no written description of the product and no disclosure that the picture does not represent the actual kit, had to purchase some items separately. Some of there other product pictures on the site are even more misleading than this one.

OME is excellent. Gave my 1999 TJ more than two inches of lift. Only know is there were no instructions included and instructions were difficult to find. Very happy with the product but the lack of instructions made is harder to install than it had to be.

Great kit, best riding small lift available for a Jeep. Does not come with t-case lower kit but adding a few washers in between the skid plate rectifies easily.

Did not come with everything in picture. A little deceiving. Missing the yellow plates. Otherwise happy with it
